GS/Pro can export three dimensional models in 2D and 3D formats which can then be utilized with other popular cad software packages (e.i. Autocad). Software tool that provides a simple - yet unique tool sets with an intuitive learning system, promoting an unencumbered method to design. 1

7. Synopsis… SketchUp and SketchUp / PRO are cad programs geared toward advancing the skill of novice users by presenting a clear method of interface for creating 3D objects and models. SketchUp is flexible in that it supports virtually all technical, architectural, and engineering disciplines. Furthermore, sketchUp will export to other popular cad systems as well and easily functions in both Higher Ed. and professional applications. The 3D segment of cad modeling continues to expand and will most likely be a key driver for industry growth. Google appears to be quietly positioning it’s answer to AutoCAD as a player in the 3D modeling arena into the foreseeable future.
