To Whom It May Concern:
This letter is to provide recommendation and reference for Mr. Troy Amones. Mr. Amones started his time at
LCI as an EHS Coordinator and very aggressively progressed to the role of EHS Manager overseeing eight (8)
chassis division facilities across North America (~2,000 employees, including five (5) direct reports). Mr. Amones
worked for LCI for approximately three (3) years within our EHS Department, reporting directly to myself. The
following is a partial list of specific activities related to Mr. Amones’s employment:
o Evaluated and conducted line audits for our chassis division. This effort was directly aimed at
engaging the workforce and the line supervisors, as well as identifying hazards that are present on a
day to day basis.
o Evaluated and improved office and production floor work spaces through ergonomic assessment.
During evaluation, Mr. Amones provided multiple options to enhance the space for the employee.
o Successfully led accident investigation teams to root cause analysis and corrective action, thus
reducing the potential for reoccurrence of injury.
o Implemented the use of Safety Champions to promote safety, empowering employees to be part of
the decision matrix and engaging them to make a difference.
o Evaluated training requirements and modified nearly every program to assure employees were
receiving the necessary safety training.
Mr. Amones was a responsible, steadfast, and integral member of the LCI EHS Team as well as the LCI family.
His dedicated efforts will help provide for a safer work environment for the employees of our future. Mr.
Amones is more than ready for the next step in his career growth and his subsequent place of employment
will be lucky to have him.
