1. ’m lost, or at least that’s what I think is going on, but what if you’re lost and can’t tell that you’re lost? What
if you’re just wandering? Or doing just fine at keeping up with the path you’re supposed to be on? How
can you tell the difference?
I don’t know if I’m lost. I wish I knew, I wish an alarm inside of my brain would just go off blaring “LOST!”
so id know whether to seek help or retrace my steps – whatever needed to be done to get un-lost.
Humans can honestly come off as pathetic at times; the way they can’t even decipher their ownemotions
or thoughts…that they are feeling? Thinking? Experiencing? It’s like being in preschool again and not
being able to read, therefore comprehend much of what’s being asked of you half the time – helpless.
Dependent on another human to explain things to you which is exactly how you are years later. You
constantly crave to be supported by someone else, using the help as if it were a crutch. Leaning on
another and not bearing the full weight of your confusion alone has the potential to just….make things
make sense. Whether it’s advice, a shoulder to cry on, the company to avoid being alone, the
encouragement, compassion, sympathy, empathy, or whatever else – the human soul depends on it to
make it to the end of life’s game.
Don’t preach independence if we’re incapable of actually being so, not pretending so.
“Independence.”
In dependence,
You rely on another’s
Hand to help you up
Instead of just
Using your own feet.
