In Luis’ 10 year career at Aeroportos de Portugal he has worked in a variety of roles for the Aviation Marketing department where he is currently Team Coordinator. Luis’

Ricardo started the professional path in the aviation industry at KLM Royal Dutch Airline’s sales department progressing to Marketing Coordinator for Portugal where he stayed
until his departure in 2001. Since then he has been working for the Portuguese airport authority ANA Aeroportos de Portugal developing functions mainly related to aviation
marketing. Ricardo’s main focus has been on route development activity, he has been based at Porto Airport for several years. However, more recently he has been part of the

Mr. Chris Cain is the Chair of the Forum of Regional European Airports and a strategic aviation consultant working in the UK and North America. Formerly Project Director of
the Airport Development Team at Newquay Cornwall Airport (NCA) Mr. Cain was responsible for acquiring and setting a new strategic direction for the airport, leading its
transition from military to civilian licensed operation, devising and project managing a major capital investment program, and driving forward its commercial development. His
work at NCA won awards from the European Regions Airline Association and the Institution of Civil Engineers. Mr. Cain also played a key role in developing the United
Kingdom’s national Air Transport Plan, where he focused on regional airports and air services and co-authored those aspects of the document. He was subsequently involved
in important follow-on implementation work arising from the plan including preparation of Guidance on Airport Master plans; he also secured EU approval for regional Route
Development Funds in the UK and a number of other significant airport related state aid approvals, led a cross-departmental review of the MRO sector in the UK and has
worked extensively on airport surface access and environmental issues.
