1. Evaluation
To recreate my cover of my magazine, I used Photoshop because I feel more confident using it because i have
used it before. First I had to take a photo of me in a sport shirt posing like Ronaldo in the Sky Sports magazine.
Then I had to import my photo into Photoshop, once I had done that I had to crop it using the crop tool. Then, I
used the gradient tool to create my background. I haven’t learn many new skills because I used Photoshop and
I know how to used that already, but if I used InDesign I would have done.
Then I placed the sky sports logo and the magazine words into the photo to make it look the same as the real
thing.
Once I had done that there was only the task of putting the writing in. which was easy all I had to do was use
the text tool and change the writing colour.
Once I added all he text my magazine was finshed.
Strengths and weaknesses of my magazine cover
I think that my main strength was that I got everything in the right place. For example where this picture is
taken at a perfect height and angle, but I needed to hold my shirt a bit higher. The thing that I could improve is
that I could use different fonts to make the cover look more like the original.
Im not very pleased with my front cover because I don’t look like how Ronaldo looks holding his shirt and also
his face, however all of the cover apart from that I like the look of it and I think it looks the same.
If I was to do my cover again I would try and make me look more like Ronaldo
