1. My name is Tony Carter, I have over 20 years in banking and telecommunications involved in IT
operational network management and network delivery experience across 3 large organisations,
Telstra, Westpac & National Australia Bank supporting desktop and core application services. I have
extensive knowledge and experience managing large scale project delivery for complex operational
environments. Have delivered complex transition and transformation projects for end to end
network delivery.
I've managed large 7/24 operational teams as well as teams delivering major projects for tier 1 and
tier 2 customers working with external vendors to achieve the contracted outcome.
I have experience in service management ITIL delivery especially capacity management reporting
and analysis to achieve the service delivery ITIL requirements of an ITIL framework matrix.
I have extensive knowledge of change control processes. I understand risk mitigation against the
business requirements to manage change and innovation for business requirements. Have
previously represented both the business and operations for change control management and
approval for all stakeholders and customers. Understand the role of Service Delivery Managers
within the change process combined with sign-off and acceptance for all stakeholders.
Additionally I have resource management experience managing a leveraged team of over 500
resources for end to end professional services from program management incorporating project
managers, business analysis, project co-ordinators requiring architecture, design to technical
implementation and activation.
I have experience managing the transition of off-shore resources for on-shore project delivery.
