Born in St. Paul, Matt Litwin works in the
mediums of murals, ink sketches/drawings,
and mixed media objects in his large-scale
commercial installations.
Matt completed a BFA with cognates in
illustration and professional animation at the
School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2012.
He has hosted residency shows in Chiang
Mai, Thailand and Buenos Aires, Argentina;
blending urban art and film study from
international fellowships at the prestigious
California Institute of Art, the Emily Carr
Institute in Vancouver, Murdoch University
in Perth for Aboriginal Painting, and Central
Saint Martins – University of the Arts London
for Design.
Limpio Designs was founded to inspire local
youth, community leaders, and fellow artists
to transform our social world by supporting
one another’s voice through fine art. Said
venture embodies Matt’s passions for
teaching and promoting collective diversity.
