Skills:
• Electrical design for automated manufacturing assembly machines using AutoCAD
Electrical software. Electrical panel assembly layout, point to point wiring schematics,
selection and documentation for all components, i.e. create BOM from AutoCAD design
software.
• Verification of electrical design safety compliance with NEC, NFPA 79, NFPA 70 and
European EN6024-4 requirements when applicable. Old school Category 2/3 safety
design as well as New School Risk Assessment and component selection for safety
compliance.
• Ten years of experience as a maintenance electrician working in food processing plants
in California.
• LOTO training from All Phase Electric (Turlock), Valley Electric (Modesto), and while with
Kinematic I received training from STI (in house at Kinematic) and Banner Engineering
(in house at Kinematic). Pursuant to the training at Kinematic I was tasked on several
occasions to write and test the Lockout/Tagout Testing procedures.
• Extensive work with three phase 220/240/480VAC HVAC and power distribution
systems and electrical control centers.

standalone), Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), NAIS PLC Controller, Adobe PDF
Creator and Adobe Photoshop for technical document creation.

• Writing and executing validation tests for FDA safety certified equipment.
• Supervising the assembly of electrical panels and point to point electrical component
wiring.

Comment:
I am currently working for B & H Labeling Systems. We design and build machines that
label can and bottle containers. Prior to that I have spent 15 years working for
Kinematic Automation, Inc. which builds custom automation equipment for the
pharmaceutical industry. I have worked for food processing plants as a senior/lead
maintenance electrician. And I do not buy computers, I buy my selected components
and build my own highly specialized desktop PC computers (Win 10, Win 7 and Win XP)
for the task which they are intended. Currently, I have four just because I can.

Misc:
• While finishing high school at Santiago High in Garden Grove, CA, I also attended a trade
school where I earned state certifications for arc/mig/tig welding and later learned dual
