Supervisor, Medical Records Department, Kirkland AFB Hospital, New Mexico
Responsible for more than 12,000 medical charts. Supervised 10 military personnel,
conducted performance evaluations, traced and located lost medical charts, ensured
all charts were pulled for next day medical appointments, ensured that all policy and
procedures were followed, attended all supervisor trainings, trained new personnel.
Patient Affairs NCO, Kirkland AFB Hospital, New Mexico
Processed requests for medical information to be submitted to insurance companies and
other military and civilian medical facilities (100 requests per month). Handled Third
Party Liability claims, working closely with staff physicians to determine whether
medical treatment were to be covered under civilian insurance coverage or by the
military. Duties also included customer service and handling of complaints of the
medical outpatient departments, appointment delays, etc.
Aeromedical Evacuation Supervisor, Izmir Clinic, Turkey
Responsible for scheduling 600 + patients appointments with physicians throughout
Europe. Duties include typing orders, using ICD-9 to code all patients diagnoses for transfer,
conferring with physicians at accepting medical facilities for emergency patients for
immediate airlift transportation. Cleared all patients through Turkish customs

counts, ran back-up programs on the hospital computer system and typed Birth and
