I have lived in Temple Terrace for 10 years and
participated in many events this great community
offers. I am passionate about giving back to others
and that’s what brought me to GTE four years ago.
GTE Financial has been empowering the Tampa
Bay community since 1935. For 80 years, the credit
union has been serving the underserved and
provided financial support that has helped form
healthy and sound financial futures.
The not-for-profit cooperative has more than
230,000 members with 22 Community Financial
Centers, two of which are run by students. GTE
believes in ‘people helping people’ and ‘going
beyond money’ for its members. Year-round, it
supports charities that are helping make a
difference. It also focuses on the financial well-
being of the members by offering workshops that
have helped adults and children better
understand the importance of financial stability.
GTE has embraced the changes within the
banking world and has implemented virtual
solutions that have made banking for members
more convenient.
Through authenticity, uniqueness, innovation,
trustworthiness and being value-centric, GTE has
become a financial institution members can
confide in and rely on.
