Social is Here to Stay, Hard to Win The old buying patterns give way to new buying patterns.  There exist marginal opportunities where they didn’t before. The window for these opportunities is fleeting. You can leverage the network distribution for a series of successive strategic wins to position your brand, enter new markets, and push out your competition, but you have to do it right.
Make the Most of This Window Leverage tools to use the real-time window to your advantage. The sooner you do it, the more space you put in between you and your lagging competitors. Some of your competitors are already doing this, and it is working. One false move and you could burn down the house.  Things that work are quickly adopted, condensing the window of effectiveness. You have to play hard to win.
Good News: You Are All Underpaid Dollars are shifting away from banners, print and possibly search.  TV and Social work because of the broadcast novelty factor  You are all instrumental in this shift that hasn’t happened since TV displaced the radio Your actions now will set the stage for your companies success You have the most return on the perception of your company, per dollars spent, anywhere in the organization!
