As mobility became more engrained in
employee’s workflows, Mitsubishi Motors
North America (MMNA) began searching for an
enterprise-class security solution to support
the company’s BYOD initiative. After evaluating

The Business Challenge
Mitsubishi Motors North America (MMNA) was
seeking an enterprise-class security solution to
support the company’s bring your own device
(BYOD) initiative and also protect its expanding
portfolio of corporate mobile appliances. The IT
team had long recognized the value of mobile
computing, but did not have the necessary tools
to securely deploy and efficiently manage an
integrated solution.

When MMNA’s Sales organization wanted to
implement an innovative approach for dealer
training that required wireless tablets and
apps, the IT team searched and found that
Good provided exactly the solutions MMNA

isolates corporate content on personal devices.
Good’s mobile management capabilities were
also key since they ensure that MMNA retains

and service managers, financing departments,
and prospective dealer franchisees. Rather than
taking time to boot up a laptop, establish a VPN
connection, and access the desired content
(product data sheets, new car brochures, parts
lists, etc.), service employees simply pull out
their tablets and use Good Share to securely
access the latest versions behind MMNA’s
firewall. Using their mobile office suite written for
Good, MMNA’s corporate employees can also
collaborate with dealers in a closed and secure
workflow process that protects all of the shared
content by marking up and sending documents
back and forth.
