This slideshare is a brief review of the medical alert company, Walgreens Ready Response. It'll go over their basic services, features, prices and other important details.
2. About Walgreens Ready Response
Walgreens prides themselves on having monitoring staff that is trained to help you
minimize the amount of trauma you might be experiencing. They are trained to be
quick, personal, calm, and knowledgeable about first aid so you get the best help you
can.
With two monitoring centers in different locations in the U.S., your calls will still be
answered if one location encounters a problem. With telephone line monitors,
personnel are able to detect out of order phone lines so you get better service. Many
response centers have bilingual dispatchers, but Walgreens offers you multilingual
capabilities. They employ both English and Spanish speaking agents, and they have
translation services readily available for many more languages.
When it is all said and done, Walgreens also records each event in the computer
system, as well as audio recordings, in an effort to get quality assurance and reviews to
make sure they are giving you the best service possible.

services. As long as you are being monitored at the time of any malfunction, loss, or if you are

13. Summary
You should be advised that Walgreens is a reseller and they do not do their own monitoring.
With that said, we think that they are worth considering for your alert needs since there are no
contracts and pricing is quite competitive.
The only word of caution we give is that you will need to adequately determine if their alert
systems will fit your needs. If you need it to help in the events of falls, or inactivity, you many
want to consider another company; Walgreens is a bit limited in alert options. However, for
the highly independent senior or handicapped person, the Ready Response may be the best
fit.
