Indian Patent Office publishes official patent journal on
its website every Friday of the month on a weekly basis.
The official patent journal of the Indian Patent Office provides
patent related information and various
proceedings on Indian patent applications by the Indian Patent
Office as required in accordance with the provision of Section 145
of the Patents Act 1970.

The patent journal of the Indian Patent office publication includes publication
of all the patent applications after 18th
months from the priority date of
the patent application filed before the respective patent office under Section
11A(3) of The Patents (Amendment) Act, 2005, patent applications filed
under early publication published under section 11A (2) of The Patents
(Amendment) Act 2005 and rule 24A of The Patents (Amendment) Rules,
2006, patent publication Under Section 43(2) in Respect of the patent granted
in India, and industrial design registration for the week between September
14th -September 20th, 2013.

you should file for patent opposition proceedings before
the Indian Patent office.

Any person at any time before the grant of Patent may give
representation by way of pre-grant opposition to the
Controller of Patents at appropriate office on the ground
and in a manner specified under section 25(1) of the Patents
(Amendment) Act, 2005 read with Rule 55 of the Patents
(Amendment) Rules, 2006.

Any person interested in opposing the granted
patents in India under Section 25(2) may at any
time within one year from the date of this issue, give
notice to the Controller of Patents at the
appropriate patent office in India, on the prescribed
form-7 along with written statement and evidence, if
any.

Pre-grant patent opposition can be filed at any instant after
the patent application has been published by the Indian Patent
Office but before the grant stage. If pre-grant patent opposition is
filed for a particular patent application, it will only proceed to the
grant stage if the patent applicant successfully wins the pre-grant
opposition proceedings before the Indian Patent Office. A Post-
grant Patent Opposition can be filed for a granted patent when
published in the patent journal within 12 months from the date of
patent grant.
