As a Children’s Theatre Education Instructor, I provided a curriculum for my classes involving theatre and
dance exercises improving technique and confidence. My students ranged from the ages of 6-years-old to 14-years-
old. In my classes we worked on projection, articulation, character development, as well as musical theatre dance
techniques. At the end of each semester the classes performed in a showcase at the Duluth Playhouse.

As a manager at Perkins I was responsible for the restaurant during peak business hours. This included
managing my servers as well as our back of house and kitchen staff. During my shift I would check in with guests and
ensure their experience at Perkins was smooth and relaxing. At the end of the night I would close the restaurant and
count our cashier’s till and safe for the day. Overall my main duties inculded customer service and satisfaction.

As the Managing Director for Stage 2 I implemented new financial management processes and served as a
project manager for the development of a secure, online database for the company to use to keep track of ticket
sales and other production notes. I did all of the accounting for Stage 2 and served as a production manager for sev-
eral of the season’s performances.

At The Southern Theater I have contributed to many projects including a kickoff launch party for The South-
ern’s new ARTshare program, and annual Gigantus fundraiser. I also headed a “Big Clean” project where I organized
and recruited the help of volunteers to deep clean the space and declutter to make room for the new resident
theatre companies. I have helped with the financial accounting and day to day administrative office tasks, on top of
serving as House Manager and Bar Manager during performances.

As the Production Management Intern I assist the Production Manager, Ellen Baker, in her day to day office
duties. I create contracts and agent agreements for directors and designers, and assist Ellen with the contact and
communication between the Children’s Theatre Company and the artist. I also work with the Assistant Production
Manager as we work on scheduling and communicating with groups renting our facilities.
