http://www.tabletmastered.com/blog/ - This slide will tell you how you can add apps to folders on your iPad and stop your iPad from becoming cluttered.
1. How To Add iPad Apps To
Folders
If you use the iPad then sooner or later you will
download apps from the app store.
In fact I would go as far as saying that this is one
of the greatest features of the iPad. The problem
is that a lot of the apps you will have to pay for
and most have trials that you can download to
get you started.
2. While you are trying out different apps, games,
magazines and games you will end up using a
lot of the memory of the iPad and you will also
end up with countless apps on the device.
This can mean that in order to find an app you
have to swipe across many screens.
3. Today I am going to tell you a way that you can
remove some of the clutter on your iPad and
either do a spring clean or add your apps into
folders.
This means that instead of separate apps they
will be grouped into one folder and of course it
makes sense to put similar apps together.
4. All you need to do is rest your finger on the app that you wish to make a folder
for.
The apps will then begin to wobble.
At this point you can press the X in the top left corner to delete the app.
However if you wish to make a folder, while the app is wobbling guide it with
your finger on top of another app.
If you leave it there for a second a box will pop up asking you what you would
like to name this folder.
You then can name it whatever you like.
5. Once you have done this you simply tap anywhere on the screen and you will
be able to see all of your apps again. They will still be shaking and at this point
you can add more apps to the folder OR if you have finished simply press the
home button and you are done.
You will now see a new folder with however many apps you put inside. You
simply need to rinse and repeat for all apps that you want to move and make
folders for.
6. Following this process you can make it far easier to find all of your apps
without having to swipe through loads of pages on your iPad.
Of course if it is getting really crowded you can follow the same method but
when they start to wobble you can hit the “X” to delete the apps.
