ISIS has declared a Muslim caliph-ate
with Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi at its

ISIS is rich, and not beholden to
foreign patrons.
The capture of Mosul’s central bank
bolstered an ISIS war chest already well-funded

ISIS’s early successes—largely
