Project Name New Ticketing Solution (NTS)
Client Public Transport Victoria (PTV), Melbourne,

NTS is a smartcard ticketing system developed for public transport of Victoria which involves a smart
card called “Myki”. Myki is the contactless smartcard ticketing system introduced in public transport
Victoria, Australia. Scope of the project is to build, manage and operate the entire ticketing solution
across Victoria. It is operated with integration of different Technologies like BizTalk, Axapta (ERP),
and TPPS and Automated Fare Collection System, DWH (Data warehouse Reporting).

2. Roles and Responsibilities:
 Analyzing and understanding Business Requirement from Functional Specification
documents.
 Reviewing new change requests (RFCs) and design Mind map to understand functional
and technical changes as per Client requirement.
 Prepare Test plan and Test Strategy for the new change requests (RFCs).
 Design testing scenarios and test cases for functional requirements, in accordance with
new requirements and Functional Specification.
 Review (Peer Review and Lead Review) test cases and test scenarios to ensure proper test
coverage for all business requirements.
 Design automation scripts using selenium web driver for functional requirements.
 Perform Test Execution for Test cases in Quality Center (HP Mercury Quality Center).
 Logging, tracking, reviewing and analyzing defects using Quality Center.
 Run Sanity/Smoke test after each build and release into test environment.
 Involved in Functional testing, integration testing, and Regression testing.
 Involved in Data base validation testing (SQL) and DWH (Data warehouse Reports)
Testing, Axapta ERP testing.
 Responsible for coordinating with onsite team in performing testing activities.
