The document summarizes the events of the final chapter of the OWBC challenge. It describes Rhapsody giving birth to twins Chris and Cherry, completing the challenge. It then shows the children growing up and discussing what will happen after they become teenagers, marking the end of the challenge. The summary concludes by introducing the seven cousins who represent the third generation and thanking the reader for following the story.
2. Previously on Reality Bites...
Rhapsody went on a world tour with a traveller named Charlie
Vijayaker. She learned to fire dance on Twikki Island, before realising
she was falling for him on their last night on the beach. The pair of
them travelled to Takemizu Village, where they got addicted to Tai Chi
and kimonos, which is where Rhapsody proposed and the pair of them
married. At their final stop, Three Lakes, Charlie dyed his hair blue, the
pair of them went log-rolling, carving their initials into trees, and
meeting Bigfoot, before returning home to start the final generation...
Which brings us up to right now!
3. “I thought your mother was going to kill me when I told her we'd got
married abroad.”
“She would have killed me. I suggested it, didn't I?”
“But I don't think she's keen on me 'corrupting the innocence of her
baby girl'.”
“That's just a parent thing,” Rhapsody said, smiling, “it's feels so
strange to be back in my own bed after months of hotels and tents.”
4. “I know, there's nothing quite like it,” Charlie pulled Rhapsody close,
“so I shared the world with you and now I share your bed. That was a
pretty successful world tour, no?”
Rhapsody giggled a little, “Stop being sentimental and get some
sleep.”
5. Things hadn't changed much in Rhapsody's absence. Ben was still
sunbathing in a wetsuit, for instance.
7. Who are you and why are you stealing Peter's image?
I honestly thought it was Peter when this dude walked past.
8. We didn't invite the Peter-Impersonator into the house. Instead,
Charlie got to work on the junker car we need to fix up for the Freetime
Bonus.
9. Of course, Charlie isn't repairing the car on his own. Rhapsody helps,
forming a husband-and-wife team.
Which is pretty cool. There's nothing quite like fixing a car with your
true love, is there?
10. It's so blue!
I long ago officially decided blue was Charlie's official colour, so I'm not
sure why it's a big deal the car is blue.
Speaking of colours, most of my OWBC sims have their own colours –
Rhapsody's is either blue or white.
11. Rhapsody also grows into Meadow's old habit of wearing clothes
without pregnancy morphs.
Doesn't matter, I have back-up clothes for Rhapsody to wear. But the
first baby of the last babies is almost here!
12. I can't remember why I have this picture, but it's probably something to
do with the way Charlie is standing with his back to the glitched genie
dust.
It is a rather ominous shade of purple. And Charlie's glitched eyes in
this picture don't help.
13. Charlie later comes inside and gets distracted.
“Hey, look baby! I'm your Dad! Hello!”
Also, Charlie seems to spend a large amount of time in his underwear.
14. I also finally build the secret-bookcase room. It goes into a room full of
the family pictures.
15. Rhapsody later went into labour.
Yes, I know the birth came round quickly-
“No excuses! No time!”
Also, this is the Bad Apple. It''s been the middle child for two generations
now, so I've just decided to break the trend.
16. Meet Bad Apple Oscar.
Do you remember when I said I had a normal name picked out for
Octopus, all those chapters ago? And I forgot it at the time? Well,
Oscar got Octopus's original name.
21. After that, Charlie and Rhapsody get straight back to working on that
last baby.
Got to finish this challenge somehow, right?
22. Good to see some things never change, right? Like a baby, growing
up moments, mere slides, after they were born.
Problem is, I took this pictures months ago, and no longer know what
happened when...oops? I just avoided writing the chapter because it
meant things were over...
23. Also, it was time for Oscar to grow up. With no cake. Because he's the
bad apple, and for some reason, they never get cake.
24. Which means you end up with this. A bad apple being nice to his
younger, toddler brother.
Speaking of the toddler, I haven't shown you what Patrick looks like
yet.
25. Here he is! He's an interesting mixture of Charlie and Rhapsody, I
think.
An adorable mixture :D
26. Now Oscar was a child, he was big enough to make all kinds of
trouble.
Or, you know, just catch butterflies out in the garden. That's fine, too.
Seems the Mirrors get to keep their tradition of tame bad apples.
27. Later that evening, Rhapsody starting showing signs of the final baby.
Or babies. Because the pregnancy scanner say it's twins.
28. Now is probably a good time to drop in on some spares. While I don't
have any pictures of Peter doing very little with his life, I think you get
the idea, right?
Logan, however, got married. To this young lady, Michelle Tse. I adore
her. His flirting with a telescope also caught up with him...but we'll
meet the babies later.
30. Yes, the quick spare visits were just a distraction from Rhapsody's lack
of pregnancy.
Shhh. It's a secret.
Besides, I'm sure you can't wait to meet the C babies!
31. Everyone in the room seemed to be holding their breath.
“The first one's a boy! Meet Chris everyone!”
32. Chris was shortly followed by his twin sister, Cherry.
Which meant the OWBC pregnancies were over, and all that was left
to do was raise the children.
33. Like Patrick. Who has been ignored for most of his toddler years,
bless him.
34. “I'm all grown up! Yay! I'm going to go play on the play stuff with
Oscar!”
Patrick is awesomely adorable still.
36. After playing on the playground, I could have sworn Oscar got lost. He
wandered the graveyard aimlessly for a while.
Why? Because he's the bad apple, of course.
37. He found his way home, eventually. Charlie was waiting for him, of
course. Not pouring soup into fountains, not at all.
38. Pretty soon, it was time for the twins to grow into toddlers. Glitched up,
of course.
“Look, our kids are so awesome they float.” Charlie decided.
“It's a talent!” Rhapsody insisted, “I blame the ninjas we met abroad.”
39. Oscar spent the entire candle-and-cake moment with his eyes glitched
up.
Sigh. Of course our bad apple would want to scare his siblings by
looking like a demon.
40. So this is what they look like now! When they're not running around in
outerwear or glitching their eyes.
Cherry looks a lot like her mother, while I think Chris takes most of his
features from Charlie, I think. Apart from his nose, maybe?
Anyway, these are the children of the end.
41. “Meadow...are you holding the door open so my children can escape?”
“No...whatever gave you that impression?”
42. At some point, Ben collapsed. I don't know how it happened,
apparently he need more sunlight – though he had been gardening all
day, as well as his routine sunbathing.
43. But it's okay. He lived.
“Did I just...take a nap on the pavement? Was I drunk or something?”
44. Shortly after, (very shortly, I know) the twins grew into children.
Chris looks a bit like both of his parents.
45. While there is no denying that Cherry is her mother's daughter. She
also starting dancing like her mother did at her age.
46. Which, of course, meant family smustle time.
“You kids,” Ben sighed, “Chris, your out of time, and Cherry...what are
you doing?”
I guess some of the kids were destined to dance like their Uncle
Logan does?
47. And in all of the dancing confusion, Oscar grew up.
He rolled family.
48. Oscar chose his own outfit...which I can't really explain much. A tie
and weird sports trousers? Only in an OWBC, I guess.
49. “Mum?” Cherry asked, innocently, “are you trying to rip Dad's heart
out, or have you just got your hands stuck in his coat again?”
“Um, Cherry,” Oscar whispered, “I think we should go...I don't think
they can hear us...”
50. As the days wore on, and the end seemed to be nigh, OWBC
behaviour continued.
Such as hula dancing.
51. And birthdays that take place when everyone except me is looking.
Patrick, such a quiet sim, didn't really attract much attention as a child.
He rolled fortune.
52. Later that week, all of the cousins met.
Well. The younger cousins met. Oscar and Patrick were having way
too much fun on the swings.
“I really want a goldfish, I think it would be awesome!” Vincent Tse was
saying.
“How did we even get onto this conversation?” Chris asked.
53. “Vincent likes fish. He has to, he's going to be a pirate someday.”
Sapphire Mirror said. She was Birch and Cara's daughter.
“Well, why don't we carry on talking about what we were supposed to
be talking about?” Cherry offered, “the end?”
54. “What is the end?” George Tse asked, shyly. He was Logan's alien
son.
“Once we all grow into teenagers, there is no more.” Chris insisted.
Cherry raised an eyebrow, “Don't scare them.”
“How do we avoid the end?” Vincent questioned.
55. “Maybe we should pack our bags and get out?” George offered.
“That's a neat idea,” Cherry commented, “see the world like my
parents did!”
“I want a family one day,” Sapphire added, “not travel, though.”
“I guess we don't all have to go...” Chris began.
56. “Bless them,” Patrick smiled, fondly, watching his cousins discuss the
end, “hey, Oscar, what are you planning to do after the end?”
His question wasn't answered, “Oscar?”
59. And that was it...the challenge was over.
The End had arrived.
60. But before we go! Generation Three!
(L-R) Sapphire, Oscar, Cherry, Patrick, Chris, Vincent & George.
61. “This is it now, guys! Thanks for reading and stuff, but we're outta here!” Cherry yelled into
the microphone, “You don't have to go home, but you can't stay here!”
Thanks for Reading and Stuff!
