Regulations will steer compliance and aid in the modernization of medical records. HIPAA is as huge pioneer in patient safety and compliance with privacy is a must. Privacy and safeguards to protect patient information is a key element towards furthering compliance in the industry and -compliance is grounds for termination and remuneration will be sought by the facility.
