1. How to Install the
“Pin it” Button

2. Pinterest is a social media site that has members
share images and content via virtual bulletin
boards.
It is a great way to drive traffic to your site and
create a new network of followers for your business.

3. The “Pin it” button allows uses to pin images to their board
directly from the internet browsers.
I am going to show you how to install this button
on Google Chrome and Mac Safari.

4. For Google Chrome users..
To install your “Pin it” button, log into your Pinterest account,
hover over the + button and select “The Pin it button”

5. When on Google Chrome Browser you will see this page.
Click “Install Now”.

6. This alert will pop up.
Click Add to add Pinterest to your Chrome toolbar.

7. The “Pin it” button will now be on your Google Chrome
browser on the right side of your URL bar.

8. For Mac Safari users…
To install your “Pin it” button, log into your Pinterest account,
hover over the + button and select “The Pin it button”

9. For Safari Browsers, click “Download Now”

10. A “Pinterest Safari File” will be
downloaded to your computer.
Find the file in your “downloads” folder, and drag it into
your Safari browser. When you have successfully
dragged it in, you will be asked if you want to Install.

11. When it has installed, the “Pin it” button will now be on
your Mac Safari bookmarks bar.

12. Now if you wish to pin an image on a webpage, simply click
your “Pin it” button.
Select which image you would like to add to your board.

13. Select which board you wish to upload the image to, and
give the item a description.

14. You will now see the pin on your Pinterest Board!
