This document provides a summary of Strangelfreak's studies and exhibitions. It lists their education in product design and photography in Portugal and Spain between 2000-2008. It then describes over 30 exhibitions from 1999-2008 in Portugal, Spain, France, and Germany featuring queer and post-porn photographic portraits of people important in their life. The photographs push boundaries and challenge social norms and taboos related to gender, sexuality, and the human body.

3. #I started out studying Product Design in E.S.T.G. in Viana do Castelo,
a small city in Portugal, but as I soon discovered I had more of a criative
than industrial perspective in life, I decided to come and study photography
in Barcelona.
#The eclectic spirit of the city enabled me to come in contact with a
huge number of attitudes that made me reinterpret my own acceptance/inte-
gration skills.
#The interess in portraing people who difere from mainstream culture,
an heterogenic mix of opinions, postures and values always fascinated me.
Reason why I started integrating elements of queer culture; as an existen-
cialist concept defined by Judith Butler; as well as a greater need to dismisti-
fy tabus and prejudices related with genre, sexual freedom, integrating them
in a recent artistic field called Post-Porn.
# Filled with humour and irony, most of the pictures are a combination
of sexuality and raw colours mixed with a total lack of respect for photogra-
phy rules.The pictures correspond to an overview of an intimat, caotic, and;
in my perspective; more natural look at individuals.
#All of the pictures are of people who have an important part in my
life, to whom I thank for oppening the door to their private lifes and allowing
me to recreate a prejudice free perspective on their surreal existence.
