TEENAGE VIBE - CHUKUA HATUA,
BADILISHA HALI
TEENAGE VIBE
CHUKUA HATUA, BADILISHA HALI
MAMBO VIPI?... I hope you answered me in your heart.
I believe uko poa and if not I strongly hope ukisomathis piece
… by the time unamaliza something good will begin to
happen kwa life yako. Form hapa nikukupea hope ya life na
rada yangu ni very clear lazima upata focus na strategy ya
kuconquer.
My Name is Ambassador Steve Mbugua an Intentional
Encourager and Ambassador of Safety, am married, father of 3
na nikona bro na pia masiz. By God’s grace I have been
through school upto university.
I am an entrepreneur and have 5 companies and many staff na
wengi ni mavijanaa… Nimeandika vitabu 5; Christian and
motivational books.
Nafanya counseling na pia mimi ni life coach and I amalso a
mentor to quite a number of people.
I speak in many youth seminars and conferences all overthe
country and that has given some little knowledge and experience
which I can share with you.
As I sit down to talk to you today through this article… sitaki
unione kama yule buda ako huko juu na mwenye hashikanishi life
ya vijanaa.
Am writing to you as your big brother.
Yes, naweza-kuwa nimekutangulia kidogo but na-feel venye una-feel
and I can try to step into your space and reason with you.
In the recent past there has been a big problem kwa shule mob
hapa Kenya. Maboys na magirls wali-riot;wakachoma ma
dormitories na wengine wakatandikavioo za classrooms na
mawe.
You cannot rebuke a generation you didn't counsel. You cannot
demand results from a generation you didn't mentor.
Talk is cheap but actions are laborious.
Lazima nijitume kubonga na mavijanaa. Niko hapa tufungue
roho tusaidiane.
I read a post kwa group ya our former high school; It was
something quite disturbing. The Boys walitoa-fujohata
wakachoma dorm na damage yenye walisababishawas almost
worth millions!
So many people have been saying things on the media…
 Unajua kiboko inafaa kurudi…
 Watoi wa siku hizi wame-spoil…
 Wazazi wame-fail ku-instill discipline kwa their
children…
 Pressure ya syllabus especially after Corona’s
interruption of the academic calendar is taking a tollon
the students….
 Others say you know… teachers should listen to the
concerns za wanafunzi….
ALL THESE ARE IMPORTANT POINTS and I think they
need to be carefully considered and addressed. It will take time
to look at the systems and to address those issues but there is
something you can do for yourself naujenge future yako. That’s
what I want us to talk about!
Nimekaa down nika-feel the need of just reaching outto all the
young people in a personal way maybe naweza-share kitu
nawewe na it changes your life forgood. Utanikubali tu
nifungue roho kama big brother.
I am not happy nikikaa kwa hao na ku-watch news…then they
report that…Bus moja ilibambwa na ma- students wakitoka
shule closing… wanalewa, wanavuta bangi na kuhave-sex ndani
ya basi!
You tell me …kama hiyo ina-sound poa….ingekuwa ni daughter yako
ako kwa hiyo nganya ungefeel aje?
Mama mmoja aliniambia …
“Mimi nimejaribu kuongelesha my form 3 girl hasikii.” Imagine
akaamua ampeleke andungwe sindano ya family planning
because msichana wa watu akiona tu-boys anasikia tu
kuwarukia.” Heat gauge yako huruka anaskia kama anaburn kwa
microwave. Madame wanwekwa no plant wakiwa primary. Huu
ni ungwana?
One teacher of a national school alikuwa ananiambia…“Pastor
Ambassador hii generation inaelekea wapi…?”
One time wanafanya search kwa wanafunzi and guesswhat
they get….
Boy mmoja ako na condoms kwa socks!
Unabaki unajiuliza… Where are we missing the mark!
The same teacher was telling me that he has been handling so
many cases of alcohol and bhang and kuberand mirraa and
pornography among the young people until he has gotten deeply
worried. Madame wanacome na sex toys za kujinice kwa dorm
unashindwa arah!
Tuseme tu ukweli…. We have quite a challenge during
this our time that our parents never really experienced.
Our parents never had the internet and smart phones
when they were growing up.
Our parents never had access kwa channels 100 za TVwhen
they were growing up. Hizi manetfrix, youtube, Ig, Tiktok
maze zinaleta noma na mimi kama big bro nawashow
mkicheza zitawaramba.
Zile songs walisten hata kama they were love songs
… hazikuwa kama za leo za your hips my tits na ku-piga
marungu bila cd….
Kuna a sense in which dunia imeongeza volume yauchafu
na the main target ni ma-youts. Hii vibration maze
mkicheza laterz zitawaramba.
The whole entertainment kitchen inapika vitu mpya kila siku na
they are serving us; they are serving you; na usipochagua what to
eat and what to reject, it’s possibleto easily poison your mind
and to kill your future. Mathew a Ngara anaweka mamita kwa
gunia mkibuy weed kwake then mabaadaye utakuwa tothi akiride
chopa huko Miami.
My dear, am not talking to you as a Mr perfect man ameland kutoka
paradiso;
Sio ati nakuja kukupiga msomo au kukushautia…. Nataka tu
we share few things ambazo I promise you; If you take them
serious uta-avoid blunder nyingi and you will make the best out
of your life as a teenager andas a yout.
YESTERDAY ulikuwa MTOI…KESHO
utakuwa MZAE…
LEO unapitia kwa hii BRIDGE Inaitwa TEENAGE!
Chini ya hii Bridge kuna a RIVER flowing with highcurrent
waters and dangerous reptiles…Manyan’gau zimejaa kwa hii
rivey
kuna dirty music, kunagangs and crime, kuna takataka yote ambayo
kijanaa asipotembea poa; atajikuta kwa mess kubwa which maybe
quite difficult to recover from. By the way hata mimi nishapigwa
rungu nyuma na maboy watatu nikiwa junia, drugs nilikuwa
peddler, pickpocketing nilikuwa pro so sio propaganda ama
pan’gan’ga nakupa. Hii ni real life experience na lessons learnt
the hard way.
Some of the things that am going to share with you may not be
very new while others you may be hearingthem for the first
time.
Ukiona kitu a parent has talked to you about; your teachers
have spoken to you concerning them… thenagain me, your
big brother, is talking about the same things… that could
simply suggest to you that maybeyou should pay more
attention to them and consider them very serious.
Sitaki usome hii book ukiwa na tension.
Hakuna mtu anakugombanisha….
Relax… Seat back….
Breathe in and out….
If you have a glass of water, juice or a cup of tea orcoffee…
make yourself comfortable. Piga sip ya kahawa.
Sitakushoutia na me si toxic bro.
You may not see me here physically but my dear, I am truly here
with you… so kindly relax and lets have somelife changing talk.
DISCOVER YOUR PURPOSE &WORK ON YOUR
VISION
I came across a man by the name of DR MYLES MUROE. His
books and tapes really changed my understanding oflife. Earlier
on I thought, life was being born… Going to school… Kupata
watoi… kuchapa job kiasi… Kuzeeka… then Ku-DIE. He
opened my eyes to see better.
Mimi nina-believe in Creation, I believe ni God whodecides
who will be born at what time and where.
Even if that person was conceived through rape bado naamini he
or she came about for some unique reason. Hakuna mtoi aliland
kwa hii world kama accidents na kama God alikuplania then you
are good enough.
That UNIQUE REASON ambayo ILIFANYA UZALIWE isWHAT I AM
CALLING - PURPOSE.
I believe all of us 7 BILLION plus people on this Planet we
individually have something wired into us ambayoGod anataka
we manifest kwa hii dunia.
Have you ever thought of why the 7BILION PEOPLE on thisearth
hakuna 2 people with similar Finger prints…. Napia wakichapa
DNA… Kila mtu ako na unique identity even at that DNA
level…. We are related but very individually unique!Hata
macho zetu ziko unique.
Naamini …God mwenye alitengeneza all this beauty wesee in
nature hangefika kwa wanadamu then He creates JUNK ama
MISCELLANEOUS beings.
My point is… kuna Reason ambayo wewe una-exist. Youare not
an experiment...You are special & important!
Dr. Myles used to say that… the greatest tragedy in lifeis not Death
but to live a LIFE without a PURPOSE. Even if you don’t know yet
the fullness of what you were born to do and become, kindly
catch this… KUNAKITU, ONLY YOU CAN GIVE TO THIS
WORLD, there is
an INTENDED MARK …BY GOD, which you must makeon this
EARTH before you Depart.
VISION is the image in your mind and a conviction inyour heart
of WHAT you need to BECOME, WHERE you need to GO
and WHAT you need toACHIEVE!
Vision is seeing things THE WAY THEY SHOULD BE
instead of HOW THEY ARE NOW!
IF you develop a SENSE OF PURPOSE, then the eyes ofyour mind
begin to see possibilities where others see difficulties.
YES, Hard work and discipline are important for success but
they require an internal motivation. That motivation is
VISION!
Mtu mwenye hana VISION ni kama jamaa who leaveshome
anapanda gari yoyote kwa stage…. Akifika
ndani…gari iki-anza kuenda that is when anauliza by-the-way hii
gari inaenda wapi….? Huyo ni mtu ako na problem kwa akili….
Unfortunately many teenagers wana-behave hivyo…Ana-ingia
anywhere, ana-make friends with anybody… akiambiwa- twende
hata hajiulizi what am I going there to do? Anafwata every kind
of wind! Akiwamid-way to nowhere ndio anauliza…form ni gani?
Anaambiwa onja hii, toa suruali then baadaye anauliza kwani jana
kuliendaje?
Usiseme umerogwa ama nyota yako iliibiwa, zi, wewe kuwa mjanja
na smart. Ni story ya kukosa vision na wisdom.
When you know what you want to achieve in this term, this
year, or at the end of your 4 years …you won’t follow everybody
wakifanya mchezo na vituko.
Wewe jiulize, WHAT IS YOUR WHY? Nini inakufanya udo
what you do.
Ukiwa na a sense of purpose and your vision is clear…
you won’t waste your time….
Guys who have no vision abuse their lives with drugsand
other bad stuff.
The Three Questions that Young People should ask
Themselves :
- Who am I ? ( Question of identity)
- Why am I here ? ( Question of Purpose )
- What can I do ? ( Question of Potential )
When you discover your purpose, haifanyi life kuwa easy…. It
simply adds meaning to the struggle and value to your sacrifices. It
gives you a reason to work hard, to persevere, to keep trying even
when you fail, toread more, to pray more. That’s what having a
vision does to you.
How do I find my life purpose???
Sio kitu everybody ana-amka one day ati anajua… First, wewe
jua-tu ….there is a reason for your beingalive.
Second, wewe concentrate on what you must do
NOW,… kama ni masomo … soma…
Thirdly ile kitu you have passion for, or you have a softspot in
your heart for or you always get concerned about … that could
be an indicator of the things in life you should concentrate
on….sawa?
If you have a dream of the future you want to build youwill not
be easily discouraged!
Vitu ambazo zinaweza ku-mess hiyo dream …you won’tentertain them.
Anything that does not help you achieve your God given purpose,
hata kama inakaa poa its sweetpoison! It’s killing your dream
without you knowing!
Kumbuka story ya Bible ya DELILAH…. Samson alicheza
kidogo na huyo mrembo… akatoboa siri ya powers zake… He
was captured and he died before histime! Alideadi style mbaya.
Kama uko na mabeste hawana mwelekeo, hakuna
mahali mnasaidiana… you are quietly murdering eachother’s
future! Hang around watu wenye wako na dreams of a positive and
better future!
Remember FUTURE haijengwi kesho, inajengwa LEO.The small
things unafanya leo will have an impact in what you Ultimately
become tomorrow.
My dear, HII LIFE SI REHEARSAL, EVERYDAY NI
FINAL…Kuna Makosa utafanya leo which may only be
forgiven…. they may never be corrected.
Chances uko nazo leo may never come your way tomorrow. You
may never have another year in that class or school. Take your
opportunities seriously; useyour time well so that you don’t
regret kesho.
And also THE BEST WAY OF WORKING ON YOURVISION is by
WORKING ON YOURSELF!!!!
Unacheki nini….you are the MAIN ACTOR in the
MOVIE OF YOUR LIFE….let no one play that role!
If you want to get to a good future and become influential and
make an impact in your generation, lazima ukuwe deliberate in
working on yourself,,,,
Work on your habits and character
Working on your communication skills
Work on your Grooming
Work on your attitudes
Get better grades
Train and Become better at your sports, arts, drama,
choirs
Work on your Self-Confidence
The world does not recognize people who just do things…. Only
those who DO EXCEEDINGLY WELLget recognized and
awarded!
Whatever you do, DO IT WITH EXCELLENCE… THEMORE YOU
WORK ON YOURSELF; the CLOSER YOUR GET TO YOUR
DESTINY!
YOU NEED MENTORSHIP
DON’T TURN YOUR BACK ON MENTORSHIP… IF YOU FIND
A MAN OR
WOMAN WHO CAN GUIDE YOU …. PLEASE HOLD
ON TO THEM…. THEY MAYBE A TEACHER…. A
PARENT….AN UNCLE… A PASTOR… ANELDER
BROTHER OR SISTER..
One of the mistakes many young people do is … to think
that they know everything and that they don’tneed anybody
to advise them.
That is not true.
You can have great potential but if you miss out on theright
guidance you will make terrible regrettable mistakes that you
could have easily avoided.
Just because you are an A or B student doesn’t mean that you
know everything. You will need to listen to
parents, teachers, elder brothers and sisters… kuna vituwanajua
haujui.
Make room in your mind for mentorship.Be
ready to be guided in the right way.
Take correction positively.
Many or sometimes you may be wrong … accept to be
corrected.
Ukipata mtu mwenye ako allergic to correction… he orshe is
walking towards destruction.
I advice also… that you identify watu wenye unaonathey
have succeeded in life…
Study their lives…Follow their examples!!
Ask your parent akutafutie motivational books.
Vitabu unaweza kusoma and your mind opens to greaterlife
possibilities..
Vitabu zinaweza kukupush from comfort zone to hardwork hadi
you achieve something for yourself.
Tafuta kitabu kama ya BEN CURSON… THINK BIG. Soma
not only academic books but materials that will shape your
attitude, character, passion and focus in life.
Ma-youth wengi hawapendi ku-come close to teachers ama
parents… don’t behave like them… hawa ni watuwanaweza
kukusaidia …usiwahepe….sawa…!
You don’t need 50 years to learn what a 50year old manor
woman has gone through… their failures and
success….
You just need to listen to the stories of those who have travelled
the journey you are beginning…. and you willhave a better
experience with fewer mistakes and greater achievement.
WEWE SIO WA KWANZA KUENDA HIGH SCHOOL,
AMA COLLEGE, kuna watu wengi wamekutangulia…please
listen to them.
You are not the first one to become an
adolescent… there are those who have been thereand
they have something they can teach you.
You are not the first kumea ndevu…. Many menwako na
mandevu na wametulia…
You are not the first to get to sweet 16… evenyour
mother was there…When she talks you please listen!
Alcohol does not share a birthday with you … itwas
there long before you came… ukisikia a
parent tell you … my son or my daughter don’t drink or
smoke…. ameona many potential destinies which have
been crashed by those drugs.
Kindly my dear ukipewa some advice kubali….
Ukifuata hiyo positive advice utahepa ma-blunder thatother un-
mentored young people will make.
Look for the right mentorship na ukipata take it seriousit will
help you in the long run. This book has a lot of information
too… ukishika poa itakusaidia sana!
PEER PRESSURE IS REAL
DON’T FOLLOW CROWDS …BE AWARE OF WRONG
INFLUENCE.YOU CAN DO WRONG AS A GROUP BUT
LIFE WILL PUNISH YOUINDIVIDUALLY
Three years ago I was asked to offer counseling to a
form two girl who had attempted suicide.
She discovered that she was pregnant. Fearing the reaction of the
parents she took poison. Luckily she wasfound, taken to hospital
and her life was saved.
When I talked to her, she gave me a story you can alsolearn
from.
She had joined a group of girls in the estate who were secretly
doing alcohol, watching pornography andsleeping with boys. They
were a group of 9 girls.
When they would do this, wazazi hawakujua…. Then wakikuja
home wanakaa ma-saints…lakini huko nje nitu she-devils!
During the holidays… they went to one friend’s home…In the
name of …going for group discussion…. Kumbe it wasn’t a
chemistry or History Discussion …. It turnedout to be sex
discussions and practical…. She went to school and later turned out
pregnant…..
ALL OF A SUDDEN wale maboys na warembo are
NOWHERE!
She is pregnant ALONE!
And she has to carry the burden PEKE YAKE!
Look here my dear, there are people everywhere who are waiting
to mislead you; be careful not to join them!
There are things you can do in the comfort of a group ora
gang…. However, I have learnt overtime that…
TIME YA CONSEQUENCES IKIFIKA…
KILA MTU ANABEBA MZIGO WAKE…. !!
You can Riot, Mzushe, hata MCHOME SHULE…. Time
ikifika … KUFUKUZWA SHULE….UTAENDAKWENU
PEKE YAKO….
It’s your OWN LIFE THAT WILL SPOIL!
You can Drink kama mbogi… Ukishindwa kumaliza chuo,
ama ubondwe na gari ama ugongwe na chupa…NI WEWE
PEKE YAKO UTAUMIA….!
It’s ok to have friends but ... NOT BAD FRIENDS!
Never forget this ….even if you act kwa group, life hasa way of
paying or punishing you as an individual!
Machali na warembo wengi wanaenda high school wakiwa very
innocent… within 1 year wana-join rendeFulani ya bad-boys
ama bad-girls and from there wanaji-waste na ma-drugs… na
ma-boyfriends na ma girlfriends…na crime…all because
waliona others are
doing it… “so I will look like the odd one out if I don’tjoin them”.
My dear kuna pressure everywhere but you have torefuse to
bend to any persuasion that is out-rightly wrong.
Jaribu sana usifuate umati….
Maintain your individuality even when in a group. When you
sense the people around you are going thewrong way,
USIOGOPE KUWAONDOKEA U-SAVE
FUTURE YAKO… It is ok to be “the odd-one-out”…even odd
numbers… are numbers…!!!!
Wacha wakuite MUOGA as long as you know whatyou are
doing is Right!
DON’T KILL YOURSELF BY
COMPARING YOURSELF TO OTHERS
IT IS TRUE THAT …LIFE IS A COMPETITION….
BUT THE COMPETITION IS MORE AGAINST TIME
AND YOUR PURPOSERATHER THAN OTHER
PEOPLE….
What do you always think when you look at your friends.
Unaona kama you are better than them or they are better than
you. When you see how they dress, the house or estate they live
in…. what comes into your mind?
Have your friends told you some stories about how theirparents
took them out on a holiday and you began feeling like “I wish I
was like this boy” or “I wish I had parents like those of this
girl”….
If you keep comparing yourself to other boys and girlsyou will
never be happy.
Uki-focus on vile ‘Caro’ ametengeneza nywele, vile
‘Mose’amedunga viatu latest… na vile neighbor ako naka t-shirt
kakali…. You may begin hating yourself and your parents… you
may develop a low self-esteem or even worse you may begin
thinking of stealing money to buy those things.
Wacha nikwambie story kidogo….
I went to a boarding school which was a walkingdistance
from where we lived in the village inaitwa Anestar
Secondary School in Nakuru.
Other boys wa kutoka Nairobi, Kisumu, Mombasa, Eldoret,
Kisii, Kakamega would come with stories ofhow their bus-
ride was….
Mimi sikuwa na story… nilikuwa nimekanyaga
mguu…. Route 11… those boys would come na chapomob, na
juice, na marashi, na blueband, na spices, ….Ukiangalia box yao
unaanza kufikiria why did my parents not do such a shopping for
me.
Comparing yourself to those other boys and girls willnot help
you; it will only affect you negatively.
Mimi nilifika time nikajiuliza??…. WHAT DID WE COME TO
THIS SCHOOL TO DO… KUKULA AMAKUSOMA…???
WHAT WAS MY WHY?
The answer was obvious…. NILIKUJA KUSOMA….
That’s what I decided to do….!!!
By the end of my 4 years I had my Strong A- …Many of those
boys who appeared as if wameweza atihao ni masonko in the
end niliwashinda.
This is my point,…
Yes you will find yourself competing in class, on the field and
everywhere but catch this… YOUR PRIMARYCOMPETITION is
AGAINST TIME and YOUR DESTINY.!!!
Pambana na life yako!
Don’t focus at what advantage others seem to have, youwill only
get discouraged…
Let what you don’t have today …push you to work
harder …. so that you can have it tomorrow!
Stop following the stories that make you feel poorer and
inferior, in-fact hizo story mob ni za uongo…..
You can end up killing yourself or putting abnormal pressure to
your parent or guardian yet those who push you into that ditch are
living fake lives. Just be yourself!
Understand and concentrate on your vision.
Wachana na sideshows and distractions.
I would advise you to discover and build your identity. It is ok
to learn from others but always be yourself. Accept the way
God made you…. Whether you are a boy or a girl.. Light or
Dark skin; tall or short … whatever the texture of your
hair….simply stop fightingagainst what you can’t change.
The rainbow doesn’t only have one color; and theflowers
are not all red.
There is beauty in diversity;
The world is sustained by COMPLEMENTATION and
stands the threat of Destruction from UNNECESSARY
COMPETITION!
Look at the Balance of Nature… The PLANTS take in
CARBON DIOXIDE and give out OXYGEN…
And on the other hand ANIMALS take in OXYGEN and give
out CARBON DIOXIDE…. The day either of the two decides
… I want to be like the other…they shall both be destroyed!!
We are designed not to look alike but to work for acommon
good with the strengths of our diversities! You do your part
and I do my part!
Don’t die trying to look like all others;
If you do so… you will have denied the world a chanceof
experiencing your uniqueness!
Think about this…. LUPITA NYONG’O… a black girl from
Kenya is a top actress in Hollywood …. She didn’t bleach her
skin to be accepted.
She only presented what she is able to do and theworld bought it!
CHOICES HAVE CONSEQUENCES
LIFE IS NOT A JOKE; NOT A REAHARSAL; we have to
decideearly to be serious with life.
My dear one, in your life, from this time on…you will have a
unique privilege of making personal decisions onmany aspects of
your life.
Parents and teachers and other people may not have the final
power in regards to how your life will go; you havethe power and
it is demonstrated in your choices….
 Unaweza decide … I will Drink and Smoke….
 Unaweza kuamua hausomi or utaenda shule but youjust joke with
your studies.
 Unaweza kuamua that you will not go to church
 You can decide to Dress dirty and rough
 You can decide to join a gang and become a badboy or a bad
girl
 You can choose to reject every advice here given
 Unaweza kuchagua kusikiza genge-tone kutokaasubuhi hadi
jioni.
 You can choose uende upanue miguu and sleep withevery girl, boy,
man, dog and chicken…
Nobody may stop you in your choices because youmake
those decisions in your own mind…
BUU…….UT!
My friend every choice has a consequence!
You choose your actions sawa!….But you don’t have
the luxury of choosing the repercussions!
 Kuna vitu utafanya na they will land you into
prison…
 Kuna vitu utafanya and you will be expelled froma
school or even lead to the ending of your educational
journey pre-maturely
 Unaweza shika mimba and decide nitaenda
KUFLASH kwa some backstreet abortion
clinic…as a result… YOU MAY NEVER HAVE
CHILDREN AGAIN or DIE IN THE PROCESS.
 You can decide maisha ni party-after-party,
ukipasuliwa kichwa na mlevi mwingine, blame
yourself.
 If you get raped and infected with HIV ukiwa TEI
you will have yourself to blame.
My dear brother and sister, my advice is THINK BEFOREYOU
ACT. Hii age uko sa hii, watu wengi hufuata EMOTIONS na
PEER PRESSURE lakini nataka ujue… kile una-du sahii kuna ma-
rewards ama ma- consequenses zitacome baadaye!
No is as anointed as Yes so kama ni mbaya sema zi.
SAYING NO IS FINE…. because…. IF YOU STAND FOR
NOTHING YOU WILL FALL FOR ANYTHING ….
As a teenager you may get so much pressure to say yesto
everything; the pressure may be from your classmates, friends in
village or estate or other places.
I beg you my dear, please believe me when I tell youthis….
IT IS OKEY TO BE DIFFERENT!
You don’t have to FLOW WITH EVERY TREND that is obviously
going to DRIVE you and ABANDON you in aDITCH!
-
Let people say UKO NA MARINGO but you are saving
yourself from unnecessary Mess and Pain!
 You don’t have to watch every movie,
 You don’t have to attend every party,
 You don’t have to go to every place,
 You don’t have to do what every other person is doing.
Ukiona hii kitu iko fishy Wee …TEMBEA…
JIKATE…ONDOKEA NGORI!
-
THERE IS TIME FOR EVERYTHING…. Time ina-come
when you will have a man or a woman for yourself for life…. But
if you make a choice to go for it now… youwill end up into some
emotional turmoil or even with achild or a family that you can’t
sustain…!!!
I wish this thing will enter you and settle in yourheart….
BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING…
JIULIZE…….
WHERE AND HOW WILL THIS THING END??
USIONE tu RAHA YA SAHII…
ASK YOURSELF …. ama NITAJUTA na KULIA the restof my life
baada ya ku-make hii decision!
If you will be at all the time conscious of the other sideof
choices called consequences… you will be safe my dear!
AVOID DRUGS BY ALL MEANS
EVEN IF YOUR PARENTS OR SIBLINGS DRINK and
SMOKE….THATIS NOT A REASON FOR YOU TO GO
DOWN THE SAME ROUTE…. CHOOSE TO BE SOBER….
CHOOSE TO BE DIFFERENT..!
Do you have a memorable EPISODE YA KUCHAPWA
VIZURI na mzazi???...ulikuwa umefanya nini??
Let me share with you what happened to me back whenI was in
CLASS 7….
I was deceived by some boys, when I had just become aTeen.
They were smoking cigarettes secretly… Remember, I grew up in
the village.
They gave me a few puffs. They made smoking appear avery cool
thing. They taught me how to hold it!...Thento take a deep
puff… Halafu…. kupuliza moshi. They trapped me. I thought that
was really great!
One weekend I decided to smoke again but I had no money.
Mimi ni nani?… I decided to make my owncigarette from
maize tussles folded in a newspaper! Nikaenda nyuma ya
kitchen na nikawasha…. Kumbemama aliniona….
She went and told Mzee… Kijana yako ameanzakuvuta
sigara….. My friend….heeee…..
Dad was feeding cows… he came pole-pole ….akiwa
ameshikanisha two stalks of banana leaves..
My friend NILIONA SIKU NDEFU… NILITANDIKWA….I
RAN… I CRIED…
It’s my neighbor who came to rescue me!
Later …. Mzee alinikalisha chini….
He told me how alcohol and Cigarette almost ruin his life. When
he finally broke free… He vowed that he willnot allow any of his
children to go down the same route.
That was the last time I ever tried to smoke and I madeup my
mind never to go for drugs!
KILE KICHAPO na USHAURI saved me from going theWrong
way!
Realize that ukiingia hii age ya ujana… umekuwa
adolescent …. It is an age of CURIOSITY… YOU FEELLIKE
YOU NEED TO TRY OUT EVERYTHING…And by
responding unwisely to this urge… many young peoplemake
terrible irreversible mistakes.
Only fools learn from their own mistakes.
Hauhitaji kuchomeka ndio ujue that FIRE CAN BURN!Just
look at others who have been burnt and say to yourself…. I
WON’T PLAY WITH FIRE!
Many boys and girls who END UP CAUSING RIOTS and
BURNING SCHOOLS and DESTROYING PROPERTIES
are normally UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL
AND OTHER DRUGS.
My brother, my sister… ALCOHOL and other DRUGSdon’t
make anyone… A HERO… they only MAKE ADDICTS!
Alcohol is not a Friend but Fools you.
You look around…. Or even in your Family…. Look atthose
guys who are given to drugs…
Tell me if their lives are in a proper shape.
The way especially alcohol is advertised it seems to be best thing
that ever happened on earth, after the creationof Adam….
They will refer to it ….
IMARA KAMA SIMBA… BRING OUT THE REAL YOU….
RAHA KAMILI, KITULIZO CHA MOYO…KIBURUDISHO
HALISI…… BEER YANGU, NCHI
YANGU… GET NEW CONFIDENCE…. A GOOD DRINK
FOR GOOD MOMENTS… all these ARE LIES!!!
My dear, one of the greatest temptations you must escape and
run away from is …the USE OF ALCOHOLand OTHER
DRUGS including MIRAA, CIGARATES, BHANG,
KUBER..…
Hata kama umesha-anza kutumia….
Please STOP before this thing pushes into an addictionyou may
never break away from and that which may ultimately ruin your
life.
Some boys and girls during our days in school walikuwa
wanadunga chupa ya juice na sindano….They drain half of
it then… they inject TEI (pombe) back into the juice.
Mwalimu anaona ni juice kumbe HALF NI POMBE! Unaona
tu wasee wamechangamka mbaya.. kumbe hiyoTEI na NDOM
inafanya kazi.!
Today there are so many people trying so hard to quitand
break free from the addiction to these drugs ….
Wewe usijiingize hapo ….Kaa sober!
Drugs haziondoi shida, they only make you blind toreality for a
moment!
Kama kuna stress ama shida nyingine reach out, tafutamsaada,
DRUGS ARE NOT A SOLUTION… they are a BIGGER
PROBLEM!
Kama uko na mambeste wana-take drugs -WAONDOKEE!I told
you my story; friends almost got me hooked to smoking! SOBER
Is THE TRUE HIGH…. DRUGS only give a FAKE HIGH! My
dear bro, my siz, KATAA DRUGS… BE CLEAN… BE
SOBER!
DON’T RUN INTO ROMANTIC
RELATIONSHIPS
YOU ARE NOT READY FOR THIS… THUS YOU WILL BE
USED …
ABUSED AND DUMPED WITH DEEP INJURIES
When I was younger, we just played as boys and girls nothing
seemed to attract us each to other. Then as I grew to become 12-
13 years … I realized that the girls we grew up with … had
changed also. Then my sopranovoice turned into a bass. I became
more aware of the thing between my legs.
I now knew kumbe watoi are not DROPPED NA NDEGEFROM
THE SKY! …as we had been told! They are
actually ‘manufactured’ by a man and a woman.
I began to see those girls become more lovely and quiteshy! And
their breasts stood out and they looked more and more attractive!
Lazima niku-show hapa, my Dad, mum, or brothernever told me
anything DIRECTLY about SEX and RELATIONSHIPS.
Mavijanaa wakubwa kiasi are the ones who would comeand tell
us about how you can have a GIRL FRIEND, na vile ya KUM-
APPROACH na umwambie I LOVE YOU!!
They would push us…. Enda ujaribu….
Later they would tell us how they went kwa BUSH and
HAD SEX.. This is happening in CLASS 7- CLASS 8!!
At home my parents were tough!
The only thing they would say is…. “Unaona msichanawa so-and-
so alipata mimba akiwa CLASS 8….
USIJARIBU kugusa MSICHANA WA WENYEWE….”
Somehow that fear kept me from danger.
Going from there to a boarding and there I met all manner of
boys who would speak of how they beganhaving sex at the
age of 11 with their house girls.
I met bad-boys some who would sneak out of school togo and
sleep with cheap village prostitutes.
During interschool competitions where boys and girls came
together, there would be used condoms in the compound because
many dirty things had just happened.
I am grateful to God that I got involved in the
CHRISTIAN UNION actively.
I committed my life to JESUS CHRIST. This togetherwith the
advice from the Guiding and Counseling sessions helped me a
lot. I was of course tempted but I did not get corrupted into
pursuing romantic relationships actively at that time.
My brother, my sister….. You have gotten to an agewhere
you can clearly see the biological differencesbetween you and
the girls or boys.
Your body is also secreting hormones.
You begin to feel like a woman or like a man.
It simply means you are growing and you are normal. That
doesn’t mean that you should look for the nextavailable
male or female to have sex.
At primary or secondary school, please believe me;
YOU DON’T NEED A BOYFRIEND…. YOU DON’T
NEED A GIRLFRIEND…. Your emotions are playing games on
you!!
HAKA KABOY ama KAREMBO will be NOWHERE nearyou
IN THE NEXT 10 YEARS.
Don’t Sacrifice your Virginity to SOME DOG THATYOU
WILL NEVER SEE AGAIN!
SEX IS GOOD BUT NOT NOW;
DON’T LET WHAT IS BETWEEN YOUR LEGS CONTROL
WHAT IS BETWEEN YOUR EARS…
Sex is for mature married people.
It is for cementing the marital union and for procreation. If you
are not ready for marriage, don’t even LISTEN TO THE
FANTACIES ABOUT SEX!
In our days maboys walikuwa wandanganya magirls…na
“love-letters” that they used to write kwapink colored
papers….
They would write things like…
“YOU ARE THE ONLY ISLAND IN MY OCEAN… WHENI
THINK OF YOU I CAN’T EVEN SLEEP”… yet huyo
jamaa ANADOZZ even KUAMKA KUENDA PREPS ni
SHIDA.!!
Today, the girl or jamaa anachukua simu ya mathee amabuda
anakutext …. And all you think now is how this girl or boy will
take me to the moon!
POLE SANA….
YOU ARE JUST WASTING EACH OTHERS TIME.
It’s ok to have friends of the opposite sex at this age
BUT ONLY AS ‘BROTHERS’ AND ‘SISTERS’.
Mambo ya MAPENZI na UKO HIGH SCHOOL ama UPPER
PRIMARY… achana nayo kabisa….!!!
Am advising you as your BIG BROTHER….
These things will only AFFECT YOUR CONCENTRATIONIN
CLASS and AFFECT YOUR GRADES NEGATIVELY! They
will distract you and destruct your life.
Ukidunda Exam… Hao Stivo, Mary, Denno, Alvo, Tasha,
Alanny, hautawaona!!!
THE LIES IN THE MEDIA ABOUT SEX
WHAT TV AND INTERNET HAVE OR MAY TELL YOU
ABOUT SEXIS NOT REAL…. THERE IS MORE
RESPONSIBILITY THAN PLEASURE IN THIS
MATTER.
Sometimes I watch the Tv and I look on the internetand I pity
my younger brothers and sisters.
The media through radio shows and tv programs and movies and
some music makes SEX LOOK EASY, SWEETwith NO
RESPONSIBILITY ATTACHED…
They paint sex simply as … open your legs Do it andgo your
way…. THEY ARE LYING TO YOU!
Even more affected is the boy-child who is heavily cheated by
PORNOGRAPHY…. That you can just geta girl, do your thing
and move …. NO! IT IS A LIE!
I AM MARRIED and SO I CAN ADVISE YOU…. THE
MIND IS THE REAL SEX ORGAN not WHAT IS
BETWEEN YOUR LEGS….
That is why the MEDIA IS FULL OF SEXUAL
CONTENT so that you SLEEP, DREAM and WAKE UP
thinking about sex! Without telling you the strings ofpain
attached to sex-outside of proper marriage!!!
WHEN YOU FINALY GO TO BED……
 5 MINUTES of SEX… and you have made
SOMEONE’S DAUGHTER PREGNANT,
 5 MINUTES of SEX and you have welcomed someUN-
EXPECTED CHILD you can’t sufficiently support!
 5 MINUTES of SEX and YOU HAVE an STI or HIV,
 5 MINUTES of SEX and YOU GET HOCKED TOAN
APPETITE THAT WILL TURN you into an ESTATE
or VILLAGE PROSTUTE or BULL!!
I AM NOT AN ADVOCATE FOR CONDOMS….. I
believe you can guard your mind, your dignity and yourbody
until when you are ready for marriage….!!!
The consequences of Pre-marital and Under-age sex arejust not
worth the 10 minutes pleasure!
Save yourself from this trouble!
DON’T RUSH to be an ADULT! That time is coming!WAIT UNTIL
YOU READY TO SETTLE DOWN IN MARRIAGE!
Focus on Education…. Build a Career… MAKE ANAME
and MAKE WEALTH before you think of MAKING
BABIES!!!..............................Tuko pamoja??
FUN & ENTERTAINMENT ARE GOODBUT SHOULD
NEVER OVERTAKE STUDY OR WORKING TIME
Najua unapenda ngoma…Ngenge tone na wewe nikama
kitunguu na nyanya.
There arepeople who can’t just go for a whole day without
dancing to music.
It is true that all of us need time to RELAX and HAVESOME
FUN. We need time away from Work or Studyjust to Play or
get refreshed!
My brother, my sister…. There is safe entertainment
but there is also toxic entertainment….
Kama ni shule….. Wakati wa class BE SERIOUS! Wakati wa
GAMES …enda ujimbambe…. Go play,Laugh and enjoy
yourself.!!!
I strongly advise you to get involved into other clubs inschool
that will make you more social and active.
Usikae tu kila time umejam, hauongei na mtu, hauchekina mtu…
umefungia ma-steam kwa kifua…
If there is a good song dance to it;
Enda church pia, ingia kwa group ya youth and
participate in the activities there!
What is wrong ni when unaanza kusikiza songs zimejaacursing!
Zimejaa mambo ya sex! Na Dance zingine za aibu!... Za kuzungusha
tu kiuno na mahaga… Ngoma za mihadarati na sex wacha.
Sasa hiyo sio entertainment…. Hiyo ni mental
corruption!!!
Kama kuna song huwezi kusikiza mzazi akiwa hapo….Hiyo song ni
mbaya…. !!
If there is a video you cannot watch there with a
parent…. It’s dirty!
Just leave it! It’s not healthy!
It’s a virus that will slowly corrupt your morals.
My dear, usibebe ka-radio na earphones, umeficha
unapeleka high school ama primary school.
Don’t even carry a phone to school secondary school. You
don’t need them now.
Don’t run ahead of time… jaribu sana you focus on thethings
that are relevant to your success for now!
Major on the major.
Kuna time inakuja you will own a home theater and a 72inch TV
and big smart phone… yet even when you get there …. you will
realize that there are many other important things in life than just
kujibamba!
Concentrate on what is the main assignment now!
Don’t sacrifice your FUTURE on the ALTAR of CHEAP
PLEASURE today!
LET’S TALK KIDOGO KUHUSU MUSIC
THERE IS GOOD MUSIC BUT THERE IS A LOT OF
BAD MUSIC EVERYWHERE…. THE MUSIC YOU
LISTEN TO WILL ALWAYS DETERMINE THE
RHYTHM OF YOUR LIFE….
I strongly feel that we need to discuss kidogo mambo yamuziki.
One person once said …. if you can influence the music your young
people listen to … then you cancontrol their character and their
destiny… And I thinkthat saying is true!
Wewe unapenda muziki gani?
Do you love Reggae, Raga, Rock and Roll, Genge tone,Bongo
flavor, westlife or even zilizo-pendwa..…
Am not forcing you to stop listening to some kind of
music…. I just want to reason with you.
It is said that music is the only thing that does not askyou for
permission to change the settings of your mind and emotions. Once
you give it an ear, the message of the song begins to form part of
your perspective and character.
Music can be very entertaining, refreshing and relaxingto the
mind and heart yet bad music can cause unimaginable damage.
Nowadays my friend, 80 % ya muziki being produced REVOLVES
AROUND SEX na KULEWA, KUPARTY na KUKULARAHA!
Songs mob on radio ni about ….
 VILE YULE MANZI AMEBEBA…
 VILE ULE CHALI AMEUNGA….
 VILE NAWEZA KUMSHIKA GA-GA-GA-GA.
 Nataka NILEWE NIBEBWE NA AMBULANCE….
 LIFE NI FUPI NA MIMI SIJIFUNGII….
My friend this is not just entertainment….
These songs are gradually formatting your clean mindand
planting MIS-NORMALS into you.
Soon utaanza kuona all those wrong things as just beingvery
normal!
If you listen to 10 SONGS about SEX in a DAY…. Utanza
KU-UNDRESS watu kwa AKILI YAKO…. UkionaJamaa ama
mrembo akipita unaanza kugeuka karibu unavunja shingo yako
as you daydream about how you could have them.
Soon you will begin to practice those things unasikiza…. You
will listen to Diamond sing aboutMAPENZI…. And you get
wild and lustful…
Ask yourself WHY DOES THE SAME GUY WHO SEEMS TO BE
THE EXPERT WA MAPENZI HAVE SEVERAL BROKEN
RELATIONSHIPS and SCANDALS everywhere???
These guys are SINGING FOR MONEY and THEY DON’T
CARE HOW YOUR LIVES GET MESSEDUP BY
FOLLOWING THE CONTENT OF THEIRSONGS!!!
If you listen to songs that encourage drinking, partyingand
smoking, masturbation …. bro, siz utajipata umeingia kwa
hizo vitu!
This is my sincere and humble advice, WACHA WATUWAKUITE
MJINGA LAKINI WEWE SAVE FUTURE YAKO.
If songs carry UCHAFU hata kama BEAT NI POA… dropthem!
Hiyo Beat Ndio Trap… do not fall for it…!!
Hautakufa if you only listened to Gospel songs andother
clean music!
LET’S TALK ABOUT DRESSING AND
FASHION
So many young people are caught in the madness of fashion!
Wanataka wapige-look kama ya some musicianor footballer.
They want the latest hood and jeans and cap! The latest dress,
the latest hair style, Makucha, ma-piercing, ma-tatoo, top kali-
kali. In the process many boys and girls are dying to become
photocopies of the people they see on TV!
Many young people are trying to find their Identity in
Cloth Brands and New Fashions.
They think kama sijavaa GUCCI then sijavaa kitu.
Please listen to me on this matter…. Kila mtu huzaliwaakiwa
NAKED! True of False…?
So before you ever dressed in any cloths you already were a
person. Ni wewe unavaa nguo …sio nguo inakuvaa. Sio lazima
uvae nguo kali ndio ujue you arevaluable…Your value comes
from God not Nguo! As long as you are decent, usijipatie
pressure!!!
People on TV and in the music videos are in business! Some
of them are putting on borrowed or rented clothes just to put
up a show!
Don’t die to dress beyond what you can afford. Don’t even
give trouble to your parents to buy you the latest dress or T-
shirt. If you depend on your parents …vaa ile kitu wazazi
wanaweza ku-afford.
Also DON’T WALK NAKED IN THE NAME OF
FASHION. My sister… USIONYESHE KILA MTU
KITOVU NA MATITI. It is not fashionable its indecency!
My brother …USIFUNGIE TROUSER KWA MATAKO….
Sagging that trouser is not cool… it only shows that something
is sagging in your mind. Walking around nakifua yote iko
exposed is not the cool thing to do….
That shirt has buttons for a reason…. Button up bro!
Dame anadress kama boy, boy anajido kama dame isn’t cool.
Kitakuramba.
Every trending thing will soon disappear…. Don’t hangyour
life on it! Some of those hot trends are also demonic. They are
created to mislead many young people into rebellion and cause
them to destroy their own lives. Kindly be careful!
Don’t join the choir of fools who will be singing… mydress my
choice... Remember YOU WILL BE ADDRESSED DEPENDING ON
HOW YOU ARE
DRESSED… Huwezi kuuvaa kama kahaba and expect tobe
addressed kwa heshima. Huwezi kuvaa kama jambazi na watu
wakuone kama mtu poa.
Don't copy what you don't know...
Usiende kuchorwa tattoo kwa sababu uliona KaligraphJones
akiwa nayo...
First you don't know the origin ya tattooing:
Second you don’t know the meaning of that image una-chorwa.
Third you don't know the health risks involvedincluding the
possibility of getting skin cancer.
And Forth take this example…you are getting the name of a
Girlfriend or a football team Permanently tattooed on you ...then
after 2years mnaachana.!!!
Kindly don’t just see some pop-star ametoboa kila
mahali… then wewe unaweka ma-pins kwa ulimi
…kwa macho .. kwa kitovu… everywhere…!!!
Siz, some things don’t display beauty they simply
express how confused you are…. Don’t go for them!!
As I have already said to you... BEFORE YOU DOANYTHING...
Think about the consequences …..
Your opinions may change with time but the mess you
have done may live with you for the rest of your life.
Most trendy things are not good; most trendy things aretemporal; most
trendy things are traps;
Most trendy things are not worth sacrificing your body, soul and spirit
for!!!
BE AWARE OF GROWING “DEVILWORSHIP” IN
SCHOOLS
I was really avoiding to make hii discussion look like ni
Ambassador anakuhubiria but siwezi ku-avoid mentioning some
spiritual matters to you.
You will agree with me katika hii age yako … you have asharp
mind and you want to experiment on many things. There are
things utafanya na they will turn out well na kuna zingine
unaweza kujaribu na life yako igeuke upside down.
We have seen in the news of many school children waki-faint at
the same time even others claiming they see strange things like
ghost in the school compound.
When I was in school kuna 3 ladies walipigwa expulsionkwa
sababu walikuwa kwa free mason. Walikuwa ni devil
worshippers. And those ladies walikuwa wana- recruit other
girls kujoin devil worship.
Those girls walikuwa na pesa always… box zao zilikwa na
blueband, ma-juo, ma-spices, milo na chocolate na powder
milk… yaani chakula ya DH hawaitambui… ukiwaangalia
utatamani kukaa kama wao. SO WALITUMIAHIYO LIFE-STYLE
KU-SEDUCE OTHER GIRLS KUINGIA KWA MADEVO.
They were reported…. Wakabambwa… Walikuwa wamejaribu
kuchoma shule… Waka-confess… walisema they had
recruited 49 students na walikataakuwataja….
They said walikuwa wametumiwa kumess life ya parents
wao… and even one had sacrificed his mother… Another
alikuwa …akilala anatoka kwabody anatumiwa
kusababisha ma-accidents... mwingine akilala anaendaa
chini ya ocean anakulanyama za binadamu and other
strange things.
Let me tell you quite frankly; Kwa hizi chuo,… primary,
secondary, colleges and Universities kuna ma-agents wa
Devo…. Some of them ni wanafunzi na wengine ni walimu.
Catch this…. the devil hataki wazae wamechapa … wenye
hawana hiyo zeal ati ndio wamtumikie… Devo anatafuta
vijanaa wenye wako na destiny kubwa… wenye wako na
bidii…. Anawa-target…. Ana-hijack mind zao…
anawaingiza kwa covenantskwa secret societies za
ushetani… then anaanza kuwatumia kama foot soldiers wa
kuleta destruction kwa society.
There are so many boys and girls wanatoka home wakiwa very
innocent; anafika shule, boy mmoja ama manzi mmoja
anamdanganya …. ati .. “kuna group nataka uingie halafu
utapewa Pesa… utafwanywa kuwa powerful; hata walimu
hawatakuchezea” …
Na usipochunga my dear ukiingia kwa hiyo trap wewe
uta-sell soul yako kwa shetani so easily like that!!
I am kindly advising you….
Ukienda shule usitamani life ya wengine because huyoanakaa
ako na perfume kali ama pesa mingi… wewe ulienda
kusoma…. Focus on that.!
Also if a Teacher or a Student akikwambia … kuna SECRET
GROUP anataka ujoin… ONDOKEA HIYO STORY…na
AVOID HUYO MTU KABISA… Akikupress,
USINYAMAZE…. akikwambia ati watakumaliza ukisemahiyo
story…. USITISHIKE …. TOA SAUTI JOH...TALK TO
YOUR PARENT… TALK TO YOUR CU
PATRON/MATRON or CU CHAIR….
Or Guiding and counseling teacher…..SAWA!
Some of these people wana-recriut watu kupitia GIFTS
na CHAKULA…
Please usikubali KUPEWA CHAIN, ama RING ama WRIST-
BAND ama NGUO ama CHAPO ama JUO na Mtuhaumjui
vizuri….
Kuna RING ama CHAIN unaweza-pewa and from thereon
una-dream uko under the sea.. ama una-attend meetings na
watu huelewi… ama una-feel YOUR SOULINA-SEPARATE
FROM THE BODY because hiyo kitu ulipewa ilikuwa na
powers za shetani.
Am not saying this to scare you nataka nikuasidie….
INCASE HII MAMBO IMEKUFANYIKIA ALREADY…
PLEASE PLEASE… USINYAMAZE… TELL YOUR DAD OR
MUM… THEY WILL REACH-OUT FOR HELP….
TUTAKUOMBEA… WE SHALL HELP YOU TO BREAK-FREE
NA UTAKUWA POA KABISA….
Solution kwa hii story ni…
1. Be alert mtu asikudanganye…
2. Usi-join any secret group;
3. Uki-sense ni kama you are losing your independence…
kuna masauti unasikia na umeanza kuwa na strange
dreams… SPEAK OUT!
4. You can’t defeat the devil na chemistry, physicsama
Pythagoras theory ya maths… you need JESUS….
TAFUTA GOD! Okoka!
5. Be prayerful… huwezi kumshinda shetani bila
maombi…. Omba ukiamka… Omba ukienda kwa
bed… Enda church… be serious na God… you will
overcome all!!!
BE WARNED ABOUT THE INCREASINGCASES OF
HOMOSEXUALITY & LESBIANISM IN OUR
SCHOOLS
Some things have remained a taboo to speak about openly but I
think OUR SILENCE has been the fertile ground in which bad
habits such as homosexuality andlesbianism now grow and
thrive.
My brother, my sister as you move on especially to highschool
uta-discover kuna habits mbaya za machali na mamanzi kugeuka
na kuwa ma-gay.
LET ME EXPLAIN…
The intelligent God ali-create mwanadamu.................Male and
female ….lakini …there are people who think that…God
alikuwa chizi.........So they promote same-sex relationships
and even marriages....
You will go to school na unapata a girl Kama weweanaanza
kukukatia.. anakuambia ati you are so hot....you are so sexy....
Wewe na ujinga wako unafikiria ni jokes tu...
Soon she begins to tell you … “you know I really love
you”......Na remember ni Dem Kama wewe. !
Anaanza kukununulia ma-gifts....
Then ana move-on kuku-shika-shika.. anataka um- kiss...then
mkienda washroom... She wants to see yourprivate parts !!!
THIS IS HAPPENING KWA SHULE MOB SANA ..................!!!
Very innocent girls wanaingia chuo wakiwa straightthen
shortly wanageuzwa wanakuwa MA-LELE (Lesbians).
Yaani… mrembo wewe ulienda kusoma then unajikuta
umekuwa Bibi ya Dem mwingine ......... How???
Kwa boy-schools pia the same is happening...
I remember in our high school Kuna several students walikuwa
expelled because walikuwa MA-HOMO ...
(homosexuals) yet ilikuwa mixed school.
How does it happen...
There are boys and teachers who already wame-spoil...
They are not looking for girls and women to have sexwith
............ Ni wanaume lakini wanataka ku-have sex na
maboys.
They will befriend you.
They may show you a lot of kindness... Wanaku- protect... They
make you feel you are indebted tothem.
Baadaye wanaanza ku-introduce stories za sex ....
They will ask you for example…how many styles of sexyou
know ............They always introduce you first to
masturbation.... So then you begin to do it together...
Slowly they gain control over you and before you knowit …
mahali unatumia kuenda choo… ndio unapatia mwanaume
ukutumie Kama mwanamke ............................................ aaaah!!!
In some cases younger boys have been forcefully sodomized by
bully homosexual groups. The victims become so ashamed to
speak about it…. Slowly some ofthose victims begin to think it is
normal… and later theytoo begin to practice homosexual acts
themselves…!!!
My dear, this is not stuff that we would want to discussevery
day but it is happening na maboys na magirls wengi wanaingia
kwa hii trap!
God hakuwa mjinga aki-make wanyama na watu
…male and female...........God haku-make ADAM and
STEVE... ama CARO n EVE....
This idea ya kuwa HOMO ama LELE is PURELY
DEMONIC... It is ungodly and clearly against nature!!
Mtu asikudanganye ati ...........“You know It’s JUST A
DIFERRENT SEXUAL ORIENTATION”....NO...................!!!
Don’t buy the lie that… some people are born with homosexual
tendencies… IT IS NOT GENETIC!!... Hii niTabia watu
wana-learn then they go on to recruit and abuse watoi inocent na
ku-destroy life zao…period!!!
My brother, you are male....tosheka hivyo...
In future you will marry and become a husband and a
father ..... Hivyo ndio God alikupangia.!!
My sister, you are female... tosheka hivyo...
In future you will get married and become a wife and a
mother ....That's how God intended!
Just Incase ulikiwa umeingia kwa hii ngori ya uhomo nana
ulele... Don't sink further...
Speak out... Talk to someone you trust .............who won't judge
you.....Who will counsel you or find a counselor for you.
Also you will need to be prayed for…since hii kitu nispiritual
in as much as it is habitual ….na utakuwa straight as God
made you.
Ukiona mtu anakukaribia and they are behaving in a funny way
as I have suggested here ... Hepa.................................save your
life from this corruption ........... Hata Bible inaita such
practices... ABOMINATIONS............Things that should not be
imagined …live alone being done!!
Another thing related to this I feel ni poa niku-warn... Kwa high
school many teachers are good but there arefew who have
messed up lives za students by abusing them sexually.
Brother, don’t ever imagine that madam wako can be your
girlfriend…Just because you have a big body...!!Don't even
entertain the thought of ever sleeping with your teacher.
My sister, Kuna walimu wapoa lakini pia kuna mafisi...!!!
You can get a male teacher anaku-favoralways... Anaku-
befriend........................................Then Kila time ana-
comment on the shape of your buttocks and breasts andbefore
long anakuita staffroom alone usiku ama kwa teacher’s
quarters ama kwa hoteli so that he can have sex with you. These
things are happening!!!!
Chanuka....ukiona kitu Kama hiyo... Usinyamaze................Take
off and Report......... Usianze kulea mtoto na wewe bado
ni mtoto.!!!
I decided to share these things openly kwa sababu they are real
..................They are happening and many lives are being
destroyed.
I hope and strongly pray that these traps don't nest anymore
teenagers especially after reading this piece.
DOING RIGHT IS FOR YOUR SAKE;
DON’T WAIT TO BE POLICED AROUND
From the time when I was in upper primary up to the time I got
to high school, I often struggled to understandwhy there seemed
to be so many rules everywhere….
School insisted that my hair should be well combed, myclothes
needed to be neat; I should have my shirt tuckedin, I should arrive
on time for preps…and so on…
At some point I would feel mwalimu and mzazi werejust
pushing me too much….
On the contrary…. It looked cool to be rough, careless
and rude.
One day, Mrs Gatimu at Anestar High school called me and talked
to me….
He said … “Mbugua, HII MAISHA NI YAKO, UKIFANYA
VIZURI ..UNAJIFAIDI, IF YOU DO WRONGUNAHARIBU
YOUR OWN LIFE” ….
He told me, “Mbugua... Mimi ni Mwalimu, I have My Degree, I
have a job, I have a salary, I have a Family…HAKUNA KITU
NATAKA KWAKO….Am justhere to help you become someone
better in life”
He told me… “Doing the right thing … is not for theteacher …the
parent… for God… or for the
Community … it’s for your own good.”
That teacher drove some sense into my little head…
Sometimes unaweza kufikiria you are very smart … Unafanya
ujanja … unadanganya walimu, hata unawezachange grades kwa
report card ukienda home… you can think umempiga chenga
your guardian… THE TRUTHhowever ni … wewe mwenyewe
una-waste time yako, unajichenga na kujidanganya my dear!
My bro, my siz…. If you asked me, from the depth of myheart,
nitakushow … JUST DO THE RIGHT THING….
USINGOJE KIBOKO… My primary school teacher used to
say… ukingoja kiboko ndio ubadilishe mwelekeo thenwhat is the
difference between you na punda?... we could laugh …but it
made a lot of sense.!!
As I look at you today… I believe you can be self-driven, you can
be disciplined at home and at school. And as you do so,
nakupromise you will not get into trouble. Your grades will
improve. You will become happy and fulfilled. Wachia Punda
na mwizi mambo ya kukimbizwa na kupigwa… sawa??
REFUSE TO BE IDLE AND LAZY
AN IDLE MIND IS THE DEVIL’S WORKSHOP….
I grew up hearing that statement from primary through to
secondary school. I think whoever came up with thatstatement
really thought through it.
Proverbs 6: 10-11 rightfully puts it…
“A little extra sleep, a little more slumber,a little
folding of the hands to rest—
then poverty will pounce on you like a bandit;
scarcity will attack you like an armed robber.”
Life and success do not favor those who sit and wait for things to
happen. Success will only be achieved by thosewho fold their
sleeves, put their hands and minds at something and push in all
their efforts and thoughts.
Hard work is not a curse. Everything you see arounddid not
just happen by magic… somebody made it to happen.!!
Today maboys na magirls wengi wanataka watulie tu
… wafanyiwe kila kitu. At home hawezi kumop hao…Hawezi
kupika hata Chai…. Hawezi kujifulia nguo ati because there is a
house-help…. My friend… You will soon go to college …
Utaishi man-solo …. If you depend on the house-help for
everything how will you survive in the near future?
Usikae kwa nyumba ikiwa chafu…. Clean it!Kama
compound ni chafu…. Sweep it!
Usijifanye ati the only thing you can handle well… ni
REMOTE YA TV!!!
Changamka msee…. ALWAYS GET INVOLVED IN WHAT
IS HAPPENING IF IT IS THE RIGHT THING!
Ukiwa SHULE don’t just come from BED, TO CLASS, TO
THE DINNING HALL THEN BACK TO BED….please
find some sport or any co-curricular activity …may bechoir…
debate… drama…. clubs… scouts…. BE ACTIVE!!
This will help you to discover other potentials gifts andtalents
you have.
.
Ukiwa home, please usipotelee tu kwa Play station na Tv na
movies…. Get involved actively in the conversations and
activities around you. This will keepyour mind from straying
into laziness and wrong influence!!!
PLEASE UNDERSTAND YOUR PARENTS
IF YOU HAVE PARENTS OR A GUARDIAN. THANK GOD…
PLEASE NOTE THAT …THEY MEAN WELL FOR
YOU…. BEHAVEWELL TOWARDS THEM BECAUSE
YOU NEED A PARENTAL BLESSING FROM THEM
When we were younger, many times we didn’t realizethe real
conditions of our families. We were just kids!Tukianza ku-
grow and to understand things some realities became open to
us.
It gets to a time when you may realize that the man youhave been
calling Daddy is not your Biological Dad.
Kumbe your mother got you with another man beforeshe got
married to your present father….
My dear, please understand your mum!
As you grow you will realize life does not always travelin a
straight line. Some things are too painful that mum or dad may
not even afford the courage to explain everything that happened to
you.
Ukijipata na mum alone… She is a single mother…. Or with
Dad alone… He is a single Dad… My dear kuna story huyo
mzazi alipitia which may not be easy totell you now…. Just
understand them….sawa??
Sometime later if necessary you may get to know part ofor even
the whole story.
Incase Mum or Dad remarried and you find yourselfwith a step
father or mother…. Siz … Bro… Usiwapatie pressure….
If they love you, they dress you…. They take you to
school… Don’t listen to maneno ya watu!
Obey them and love them!
Remember there are other kids who are total orphans…. There
are kids on the streets who only wish they had a shelter over
them and a regular meal and probably somebody to sponsor them
through school.
Kindly catch this…, YOU ARE NOT A BIOLOGICAL
ACCIDENT…. YOU ARE NOT A MISTAKE….You are a
unique human being with a special destiny!
Hauna control over what transpired or maybe is
currently happening between your parents.
Don’t lose focus!
Your parents may have their own faults, Mzee anawezakuwa
mlevi… Don’t join him but ….Don’t fight him! Mum and dad
could have their own differences usiingilie vita huwezi ku-win!!!
Don’t fight your mother and Don’t fight your father!
Usitukane mzazi! Ni laana!
My dear bro, my dear siz…. You need the blessing ofthat or
those parents. Don’t push them to the point where they cry or
bitterly lament over you.
Bitter words of a parent will make your life bitter!
Your parents may not afford to buy you everything youwant!
Respect them! Understand them!
Your parents MAY SAY NO to some of your requests. They
mean well for you. Kuna vitu… my friend hujui….Ukikatazwa
.. kubali tu!!!
Your parents may discipline you….. They don’t hateyou…
They mean well for you! Respect them!
Parents are an authority from God over you…. HAKUNA
place hii dunia where you will not be subject to authority… Zoea
mapema ku-submit to authority…If you find it difficult
submitting to the authority ya MZAZI even if you go to
AMERIKA… you will get intotrouble with the authorities,
there…!!
Note also that …Your parents may be struggling to put food on
the table. They may be not be as outgoing and educated as your
friend’s parents…. They are your parents, … Love them
respect them…!! They carry yourblessing. Purpose in your
heart to become great and change their circumstances!!!
REMEMBER GOD
IN THE DAYS OF YOUR YOUTH
Our Christian Union patron in high school always reminded us
… you can’t end well as a young personIF YOU IGNORE
GOD!
He would tell us that …the Challenges young peopleface can easily
break them if they don’t build their Faith in God and Shape their
morality around the Word of God!
The man would tell us … If you IGNORE GOD as a YOUNG
PERSON, you will enter into MESSES that willbreak your
LIFE IN THE END!
My friend, today many young people find it very unfashionable to
go to church. They would rather go fora dance-party or a music
concert than attend a church service.
I will however tell you openly that…One of the placeswhere
your life can be shaped properly is the place of worship. Not
just going to be counted kwamba you
attended…. I mean you personally becoming seriouskabisa
na GOD!
Love God with all your heart…. With all your mind...and
with all your strength…
If the school has a Christian union …join and be
active…. Pray always when you wake up and when yousleep.
Read your Bible. Attend church youth seminars and
conferences.
If you are in Church, be active, learn how to play the
keyboard,… play the guitar… play the drums….
Volunteer to serve as an usher or to teach the youngerkids in
the Sunday school.
Try to practice the word of God.
Where you can’t understand… ask from your youthpastor or
patron.
I have learnt that … if you give God priority, he willtake
you places in life beyond your imagination.
It is not foolish to follow and to serve God. It is notstupid to
be godly ….its wisdom!
God has a tendenacy of picking up a NOBODY , to
become a SOMEBODY , in front of EVERYBODY ,
without asking ANYBODY and that is why he remains
GOD. You need this GOD.
The wisest man who ever lived, Solomon, he gave us the
conclusion of the matter…. He said it is … TO FEAR GOD
AND KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS.
Do exactly that ….and your life will grow from better to
excellent ........sawa???

TEENAGE VYBE - CHUKUA HATUA - BADIRISHA HALI.pdf

  • 1. [Type here] TEENAGE VIBE - CHUKUA HATUA, BADILISHA HALI
  • 2. TEENAGE VIBE CHUKUA HATUA, BADILISHA HALI MAMBO VIPI?... I hope you answered me in your heart. I believe uko poa and if not I strongly hope ukisomathis piece … by the time unamaliza something good will begin to happen kwa life yako. Form hapa nikukupea hope ya life na rada yangu ni very clear lazima upata focus na strategy ya kuconquer. My Name is Ambassador Steve Mbugua an Intentional Encourager and Ambassador of Safety, am married, father of 3 na nikona bro na pia masiz. By God’s grace I have been through school upto university. I am an entrepreneur and have 5 companies and many staff na wengi ni mavijanaa… Nimeandika vitabu 5; Christian and motivational books. Nafanya counseling na pia mimi ni life coach and I amalso a mentor to quite a number of people. I speak in many youth seminars and conferences all overthe country and that has given some little knowledge and experience which I can share with you. As I sit down to talk to you today through this article… sitaki unione kama yule buda ako huko juu na mwenye hashikanishi life ya vijanaa. Am writing to you as your big brother. Yes, naweza-kuwa nimekutangulia kidogo but na-feel venye una-feel and I can try to step into your space and reason with you.
  • 3. In the recent past there has been a big problem kwa shule mob hapa Kenya. Maboys na magirls wali-riot;wakachoma ma dormitories na wengine wakatandikavioo za classrooms na mawe. You cannot rebuke a generation you didn't counsel. You cannot demand results from a generation you didn't mentor. Talk is cheap but actions are laborious. Lazima nijitume kubonga na mavijanaa. Niko hapa tufungue roho tusaidiane. I read a post kwa group ya our former high school; It was something quite disturbing. The Boys walitoa-fujohata wakachoma dorm na damage yenye walisababishawas almost worth millions! So many people have been saying things on the media…  Unajua kiboko inafaa kurudi…  Watoi wa siku hizi wame-spoil…  Wazazi wame-fail ku-instill discipline kwa their children…  Pressure ya syllabus especially after Corona’s interruption of the academic calendar is taking a tollon the students….  Others say you know… teachers should listen to the concerns za wanafunzi….
  • 4. ALL THESE ARE IMPORTANT POINTS and I think they need to be carefully considered and addressed. It will take time to look at the systems and to address those issues but there is something you can do for yourself naujenge future yako. That’s what I want us to talk about!
  • 5. Nimekaa down nika-feel the need of just reaching outto all the young people in a personal way maybe naweza-share kitu nawewe na it changes your life forgood. Utanikubali tu nifungue roho kama big brother. I am not happy nikikaa kwa hao na ku-watch news…then they report that…Bus moja ilibambwa na ma- students wakitoka shule closing… wanalewa, wanavuta bangi na kuhave-sex ndani ya basi! You tell me …kama hiyo ina-sound poa….ingekuwa ni daughter yako ako kwa hiyo nganya ungefeel aje? Mama mmoja aliniambia … “Mimi nimejaribu kuongelesha my form 3 girl hasikii.” Imagine akaamua ampeleke andungwe sindano ya family planning because msichana wa watu akiona tu-boys anasikia tu kuwarukia.” Heat gauge yako huruka anaskia kama anaburn kwa microwave. Madame wanwekwa no plant wakiwa primary. Huu ni ungwana? One teacher of a national school alikuwa ananiambia…“Pastor Ambassador hii generation inaelekea wapi…?” One time wanafanya search kwa wanafunzi and guesswhat they get…. Boy mmoja ako na condoms kwa socks! Unabaki unajiuliza… Where are we missing the mark! The same teacher was telling me that he has been handling so many cases of alcohol and bhang and kuberand mirraa and pornography among the young people until he has gotten deeply worried. Madame wanacome na sex toys za kujinice kwa dorm
  • 6. unashindwa arah! Tuseme tu ukweli…. We have quite a challenge during this our time that our parents never really experienced. Our parents never had the internet and smart phones when they were growing up. Our parents never had access kwa channels 100 za TVwhen they were growing up. Hizi manetfrix, youtube, Ig, Tiktok maze zinaleta noma na mimi kama big bro nawashow mkicheza zitawaramba. Zile songs walisten hata kama they were love songs … hazikuwa kama za leo za your hips my tits na ku-piga marungu bila cd…. Kuna a sense in which dunia imeongeza volume yauchafu na the main target ni ma-youts. Hii vibration maze mkicheza laterz zitawaramba. The whole entertainment kitchen inapika vitu mpya kila siku na they are serving us; they are serving you; na usipochagua what to eat and what to reject, it’s possibleto easily poison your mind and to kill your future. Mathew a Ngara anaweka mamita kwa gunia mkibuy weed kwake then mabaadaye utakuwa tothi akiride chopa huko Miami. My dear, am not talking to you as a Mr perfect man ameland kutoka paradiso; Sio ati nakuja kukupiga msomo au kukushautia…. Nataka tu we share few things ambazo I promise you; If you take them serious uta-avoid blunder nyingi and you will make the best out of your life as a teenager andas a yout.
  • 7. YESTERDAY ulikuwa MTOI…KESHO utakuwa MZAE… LEO unapitia kwa hii BRIDGE Inaitwa TEENAGE! Chini ya hii Bridge kuna a RIVER flowing with highcurrent waters and dangerous reptiles…Manyan’gau zimejaa kwa hii rivey Mtu asipokuwa careful akitembea kwa hii BRIDGE called TEENAGE anaweza kudunda na atachotwa nakubebwa na hiyo current. Ushawai chotwa na wave ukipiga duff mpararo? Kuna wave ya matinii ukicheza utadrown. Kwa hii River inayopita kuna ma-drugs, kuna peer pressure, mangono chafu, malesbi na mahomo hawatambui, kuna under-age sex, kuna dirty music, kunagangs and crime, kuna takataka yote ambayo kijanaa asipotembea poa; atajikuta kwa mess kubwa which maybe quite difficult to recover from. By the way hata mimi nishapigwa rungu nyuma na maboy watatu nikiwa junia, drugs nilikuwa peddler, pickpocketing nilikuwa pro so sio propaganda ama pan’gan’ga nakupa. Hii ni real life experience na lessons learnt the hard way. Some of the things that am going to share with you may not be very new while others you may be hearingthem for the first time.
  • 8. Ukiona kitu a parent has talked to you about; your teachers have spoken to you concerning them… thenagain me, your big brother, is talking about the same things… that could simply suggest to you that maybeyou should pay more attention to them and consider them very serious. Sitaki usome hii book ukiwa na tension. Hakuna mtu anakugombanisha…. Relax… Seat back…. Breathe in and out…. If you have a glass of water, juice or a cup of tea orcoffee… make yourself comfortable. Piga sip ya kahawa. Sitakushoutia na me si toxic bro. You may not see me here physically but my dear, I am truly here with you… so kindly relax and lets have somelife changing talk.
  • 9. DISCOVER YOUR PURPOSE &WORK ON YOUR VISION I came across a man by the name of DR MYLES MUROE. His books and tapes really changed my understanding oflife. Earlier on I thought, life was being born… Going to school… Kupata watoi… kuchapa job kiasi… Kuzeeka… then Ku-DIE. He opened my eyes to see better. Mimi nina-believe in Creation, I believe ni God whodecides who will be born at what time and where. Even if that person was conceived through rape bado naamini he or she came about for some unique reason. Hakuna mtoi aliland kwa hii world kama accidents na kama God alikuplania then you are good enough. That UNIQUE REASON ambayo ILIFANYA UZALIWE isWHAT I AM CALLING - PURPOSE. I believe all of us 7 BILLION plus people on this Planet we individually have something wired into us ambayoGod anataka we manifest kwa hii dunia. Have you ever thought of why the 7BILION PEOPLE on thisearth hakuna 2 people with similar Finger prints…. Napia wakichapa DNA… Kila mtu ako na unique identity even at that DNA level…. We are related but very individually unique!Hata macho zetu ziko unique.
  • 10. Naamini …God mwenye alitengeneza all this beauty wesee in nature hangefika kwa wanadamu then He creates JUNK ama MISCELLANEOUS beings. My point is… kuna Reason ambayo wewe una-exist. Youare not an experiment...You are special & important! Dr. Myles used to say that… the greatest tragedy in lifeis not Death but to live a LIFE without a PURPOSE. Even if you don’t know yet the fullness of what you were born to do and become, kindly catch this… KUNAKITU, ONLY YOU CAN GIVE TO THIS WORLD, there is an INTENDED MARK …BY GOD, which you must makeon this EARTH before you Depart. VISION is the image in your mind and a conviction inyour heart of WHAT you need to BECOME, WHERE you need to GO and WHAT you need toACHIEVE! Vision is seeing things THE WAY THEY SHOULD BE instead of HOW THEY ARE NOW! IF you develop a SENSE OF PURPOSE, then the eyes ofyour mind begin to see possibilities where others see difficulties. YES, Hard work and discipline are important for success but they require an internal motivation. That motivation is VISION!
  • 11. Mtu mwenye hana VISION ni kama jamaa who leaveshome anapanda gari yoyote kwa stage…. Akifika ndani…gari iki-anza kuenda that is when anauliza by-the-way hii gari inaenda wapi….? Huyo ni mtu ako na problem kwa akili…. Unfortunately many teenagers wana-behave hivyo…Ana-ingia anywhere, ana-make friends with anybody… akiambiwa- twende hata hajiulizi what am I going there to do? Anafwata every kind of wind! Akiwamid-way to nowhere ndio anauliza…form ni gani? Anaambiwa onja hii, toa suruali then baadaye anauliza kwani jana kuliendaje? Usiseme umerogwa ama nyota yako iliibiwa, zi, wewe kuwa mjanja na smart. Ni story ya kukosa vision na wisdom. When you know what you want to achieve in this term, this year, or at the end of your 4 years …you won’t follow everybody wakifanya mchezo na vituko. Wewe jiulize, WHAT IS YOUR WHY? Nini inakufanya udo what you do. Ukiwa na a sense of purpose and your vision is clear… you won’t waste your time…. Guys who have no vision abuse their lives with drugsand other bad stuff.
  • 12. The Three Questions that Young People should ask Themselves : - Who am I ? ( Question of identity) - Why am I here ? ( Question of Purpose ) - What can I do ? ( Question of Potential ) When you discover your purpose, haifanyi life kuwa easy…. It simply adds meaning to the struggle and value to your sacrifices. It gives you a reason to work hard, to persevere, to keep trying even when you fail, toread more, to pray more. That’s what having a vision does to you.
  • 13. How do I find my life purpose??? Sio kitu everybody ana-amka one day ati anajua… First, wewe jua-tu ….there is a reason for your beingalive. Second, wewe concentrate on what you must do NOW,… kama ni masomo … soma… Thirdly ile kitu you have passion for, or you have a softspot in your heart for or you always get concerned about … that could be an indicator of the things in life you should concentrate on….sawa? If you have a dream of the future you want to build youwill not be easily discouraged! Vitu ambazo zinaweza ku-mess hiyo dream …you won’tentertain them. Anything that does not help you achieve your God given purpose, hata kama inakaa poa its sweetpoison! It’s killing your dream without you knowing! Kumbuka story ya Bible ya DELILAH…. Samson alicheza kidogo na huyo mrembo… akatoboa siri ya powers zake… He was captured and he died before histime! Alideadi style mbaya. Kama uko na mabeste hawana mwelekeo, hakuna mahali mnasaidiana… you are quietly murdering eachother’s future! Hang around watu wenye wako na dreams of a positive and better future!
  • 14. Remember FUTURE haijengwi kesho, inajengwa LEO.The small things unafanya leo will have an impact in what you Ultimately become tomorrow. My dear, HII LIFE SI REHEARSAL, EVERYDAY NI FINAL…Kuna Makosa utafanya leo which may only be forgiven…. they may never be corrected. Chances uko nazo leo may never come your way tomorrow. You may never have another year in that class or school. Take your opportunities seriously; useyour time well so that you don’t regret kesho. And also THE BEST WAY OF WORKING ON YOURVISION is by WORKING ON YOURSELF!!!! Unacheki nini….you are the MAIN ACTOR in the MOVIE OF YOUR LIFE….let no one play that role! If you want to get to a good future and become influential and make an impact in your generation, lazima ukuwe deliberate in working on yourself,,,, Work on your habits and character Working on your communication skills Work on your Grooming Work on your attitudes Get better grades
  • 15. Train and Become better at your sports, arts, drama, choirs Work on your Self-Confidence The world does not recognize people who just do things…. Only those who DO EXCEEDINGLY WELLget recognized and awarded! Whatever you do, DO IT WITH EXCELLENCE… THEMORE YOU WORK ON YOURSELF; the CLOSER YOUR GET TO YOUR DESTINY!
  • 16. YOU NEED MENTORSHIP DON’T TURN YOUR BACK ON MENTORSHIP… IF YOU FIND A MAN OR WOMAN WHO CAN GUIDE YOU …. PLEASE HOLD ON TO THEM…. THEY MAYBE A TEACHER…. A PARENT….AN UNCLE… A PASTOR… ANELDER BROTHER OR SISTER.. One of the mistakes many young people do is … to think that they know everything and that they don’tneed anybody to advise them. That is not true. You can have great potential but if you miss out on theright guidance you will make terrible regrettable mistakes that you could have easily avoided. Just because you are an A or B student doesn’t mean that you know everything. You will need to listen to parents, teachers, elder brothers and sisters… kuna vituwanajua haujui. Make room in your mind for mentorship.Be ready to be guided in the right way. Take correction positively. Many or sometimes you may be wrong … accept to be corrected. Ukipata mtu mwenye ako allergic to correction… he orshe is walking towards destruction.
  • 17. I advice also… that you identify watu wenye unaonathey have succeeded in life… Study their lives…Follow their examples!! Ask your parent akutafutie motivational books. Vitabu unaweza kusoma and your mind opens to greaterlife possibilities.. Vitabu zinaweza kukupush from comfort zone to hardwork hadi you achieve something for yourself. Tafuta kitabu kama ya BEN CURSON… THINK BIG. Soma not only academic books but materials that will shape your attitude, character, passion and focus in life. Ma-youth wengi hawapendi ku-come close to teachers ama parents… don’t behave like them… hawa ni watuwanaweza kukusaidia …usiwahepe….sawa…! You don’t need 50 years to learn what a 50year old manor woman has gone through… their failures and success…. You just need to listen to the stories of those who have travelled the journey you are beginning…. and you willhave a better experience with fewer mistakes and greater achievement.
  • 18. WEWE SIO WA KWANZA KUENDA HIGH SCHOOL, AMA COLLEGE, kuna watu wengi wamekutangulia…please listen to them. You are not the first one to become an adolescent… there are those who have been thereand they have something they can teach you. You are not the first kumea ndevu…. Many menwako na mandevu na wametulia… You are not the first to get to sweet 16… evenyour mother was there…When she talks you please listen! Alcohol does not share a birthday with you … itwas there long before you came… ukisikia a parent tell you … my son or my daughter don’t drink or smoke…. ameona many potential destinies which have been crashed by those drugs. Kindly my dear ukipewa some advice kubali…. Ukifuata hiyo positive advice utahepa ma-blunder thatother un- mentored young people will make. Look for the right mentorship na ukipata take it seriousit will help you in the long run. This book has a lot of information too… ukishika poa itakusaidia sana!
  • 19. PEER PRESSURE IS REAL DON’T FOLLOW CROWDS …BE AWARE OF WRONG INFLUENCE.YOU CAN DO WRONG AS A GROUP BUT LIFE WILL PUNISH YOUINDIVIDUALLY Three years ago I was asked to offer counseling to a form two girl who had attempted suicide. She discovered that she was pregnant. Fearing the reaction of the parents she took poison. Luckily she wasfound, taken to hospital and her life was saved. When I talked to her, she gave me a story you can alsolearn from. She had joined a group of girls in the estate who were secretly doing alcohol, watching pornography andsleeping with boys. They were a group of 9 girls. When they would do this, wazazi hawakujua…. Then wakikuja home wanakaa ma-saints…lakini huko nje nitu she-devils! During the holidays… they went to one friend’s home…In the name of …going for group discussion…. Kumbe it wasn’t a chemistry or History Discussion …. It turnedout to be sex discussions and practical…. She went to school and later turned out pregnant…..
  • 20. ALL OF A SUDDEN wale maboys na warembo are NOWHERE! She is pregnant ALONE! And she has to carry the burden PEKE YAKE! Look here my dear, there are people everywhere who are waiting to mislead you; be careful not to join them! There are things you can do in the comfort of a group ora gang…. However, I have learnt overtime that… TIME YA CONSEQUENCES IKIFIKA… KILA MTU ANABEBA MZIGO WAKE…. !! You can Riot, Mzushe, hata MCHOME SHULE…. Time ikifika … KUFUKUZWA SHULE….UTAENDAKWENU PEKE YAKO…. It’s your OWN LIFE THAT WILL SPOIL! You can Drink kama mbogi… Ukishindwa kumaliza chuo, ama ubondwe na gari ama ugongwe na chupa…NI WEWE PEKE YAKO UTAUMIA….! It’s ok to have friends but ... NOT BAD FRIENDS! Never forget this ….even if you act kwa group, life hasa way of paying or punishing you as an individual!
  • 21. Machali na warembo wengi wanaenda high school wakiwa very innocent… within 1 year wana-join rendeFulani ya bad-boys ama bad-girls and from there wanaji-waste na ma-drugs… na ma-boyfriends na ma girlfriends…na crime…all because waliona others are doing it… “so I will look like the odd one out if I don’tjoin them”. My dear kuna pressure everywhere but you have torefuse to bend to any persuasion that is out-rightly wrong. Jaribu sana usifuate umati…. Maintain your individuality even when in a group. When you sense the people around you are going thewrong way, USIOGOPE KUWAONDOKEA U-SAVE FUTURE YAKO… It is ok to be “the odd-one-out”…even odd numbers… are numbers…!!!! Wacha wakuite MUOGA as long as you know whatyou are doing is Right!
  • 22. DON’T KILL YOURSELF BY COMPARING YOURSELF TO OTHERS IT IS TRUE THAT …LIFE IS A COMPETITION…. BUT THE COMPETITION IS MORE AGAINST TIME AND YOUR PURPOSERATHER THAN OTHER PEOPLE…. What do you always think when you look at your friends. Unaona kama you are better than them or they are better than you. When you see how they dress, the house or estate they live in…. what comes into your mind? Have your friends told you some stories about how theirparents took them out on a holiday and you began feeling like “I wish I was like this boy” or “I wish I had parents like those of this girl”…. If you keep comparing yourself to other boys and girlsyou will never be happy. Uki-focus on vile ‘Caro’ ametengeneza nywele, vile ‘Mose’amedunga viatu latest… na vile neighbor ako naka t-shirt kakali…. You may begin hating yourself and your parents… you may develop a low self-esteem or even worse you may begin thinking of stealing money to buy those things.
  • 23. Wacha nikwambie story kidogo…. I went to a boarding school which was a walkingdistance from where we lived in the village inaitwa Anestar Secondary School in Nakuru. Other boys wa kutoka Nairobi, Kisumu, Mombasa, Eldoret, Kisii, Kakamega would come with stories ofhow their bus- ride was…. Mimi sikuwa na story… nilikuwa nimekanyaga mguu…. Route 11… those boys would come na chapomob, na juice, na marashi, na blueband, na spices, ….Ukiangalia box yao unaanza kufikiria why did my parents not do such a shopping for me. Comparing yourself to those other boys and girls willnot help you; it will only affect you negatively. Mimi nilifika time nikajiuliza??…. WHAT DID WE COME TO THIS SCHOOL TO DO… KUKULA AMAKUSOMA…??? WHAT WAS MY WHY? The answer was obvious…. NILIKUJA KUSOMA…. That’s what I decided to do….!!! By the end of my 4 years I had my Strong A- …Many of those boys who appeared as if wameweza atihao ni masonko in the end niliwashinda.
  • 24. This is my point,… Yes you will find yourself competing in class, on the field and everywhere but catch this… YOUR PRIMARYCOMPETITION is AGAINST TIME and YOUR DESTINY.!!! Pambana na life yako! Don’t focus at what advantage others seem to have, youwill only get discouraged… Let what you don’t have today …push you to work harder …. so that you can have it tomorrow! Stop following the stories that make you feel poorer and inferior, in-fact hizo story mob ni za uongo….. You can end up killing yourself or putting abnormal pressure to your parent or guardian yet those who push you into that ditch are living fake lives. Just be yourself! Understand and concentrate on your vision. Wachana na sideshows and distractions. I would advise you to discover and build your identity. It is ok to learn from others but always be yourself. Accept the way God made you…. Whether you are a boy or a girl.. Light or Dark skin; tall or short … whatever the texture of your hair….simply stop fightingagainst what you can’t change.
  • 25. The rainbow doesn’t only have one color; and theflowers are not all red. There is beauty in diversity; The world is sustained by COMPLEMENTATION and stands the threat of Destruction from UNNECESSARY COMPETITION! Look at the Balance of Nature… The PLANTS take in CARBON DIOXIDE and give out OXYGEN… And on the other hand ANIMALS take in OXYGEN and give out CARBON DIOXIDE…. The day either of the two decides … I want to be like the other…they shall both be destroyed!! We are designed not to look alike but to work for acommon good with the strengths of our diversities! You do your part and I do my part! Don’t die trying to look like all others; If you do so… you will have denied the world a chanceof experiencing your uniqueness! Think about this…. LUPITA NYONG’O… a black girl from Kenya is a top actress in Hollywood …. She didn’t bleach her skin to be accepted. She only presented what she is able to do and theworld bought it!
  • 26. CHOICES HAVE CONSEQUENCES LIFE IS NOT A JOKE; NOT A REAHARSAL; we have to decideearly to be serious with life. My dear one, in your life, from this time on…you will have a unique privilege of making personal decisions onmany aspects of your life. Parents and teachers and other people may not have the final power in regards to how your life will go; you havethe power and it is demonstrated in your choices….  Unaweza decide … I will Drink and Smoke….  Unaweza kuamua hausomi or utaenda shule but youjust joke with your studies.  Unaweza kuamua that you will not go to church  You can decide to Dress dirty and rough  You can decide to join a gang and become a badboy or a bad girl  You can choose to reject every advice here given  Unaweza kuchagua kusikiza genge-tone kutokaasubuhi hadi jioni.  You can choose uende upanue miguu and sleep withevery girl, boy, man, dog and chicken… Nobody may stop you in your choices because youmake those decisions in your own mind…
  • 27. BUU…….UT! My friend every choice has a consequence! You choose your actions sawa!….But you don’t have the luxury of choosing the repercussions!  Kuna vitu utafanya na they will land you into prison…  Kuna vitu utafanya and you will be expelled froma school or even lead to the ending of your educational journey pre-maturely  Unaweza shika mimba and decide nitaenda KUFLASH kwa some backstreet abortion clinic…as a result… YOU MAY NEVER HAVE CHILDREN AGAIN or DIE IN THE PROCESS.  You can decide maisha ni party-after-party, ukipasuliwa kichwa na mlevi mwingine, blame yourself.  If you get raped and infected with HIV ukiwa TEI you will have yourself to blame. My dear brother and sister, my advice is THINK BEFOREYOU ACT. Hii age uko sa hii, watu wengi hufuata EMOTIONS na PEER PRESSURE lakini nataka ujue… kile una-du sahii kuna ma- rewards ama ma- consequenses zitacome baadaye! No is as anointed as Yes so kama ni mbaya sema zi.
  • 28. SAYING NO IS FINE…. because…. IF YOU STAND FOR NOTHING YOU WILL FALL FOR ANYTHING …. As a teenager you may get so much pressure to say yesto everything; the pressure may be from your classmates, friends in village or estate or other places. I beg you my dear, please believe me when I tell youthis…. IT IS OKEY TO BE DIFFERENT! You don’t have to FLOW WITH EVERY TREND that is obviously going to DRIVE you and ABANDON you in aDITCH! - Let people say UKO NA MARINGO but you are saving yourself from unnecessary Mess and Pain!  You don’t have to watch every movie,  You don’t have to attend every party,  You don’t have to go to every place,  You don’t have to do what every other person is doing. Ukiona hii kitu iko fishy Wee …TEMBEA… JIKATE…ONDOKEA NGORI! - THERE IS TIME FOR EVERYTHING…. Time ina-come when you will have a man or a woman for yourself for life…. But if you make a choice to go for it now… youwill end up into some emotional turmoil or even with achild or a family that you can’t sustain…!!!
  • 29. I wish this thing will enter you and settle in yourheart…. BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING… JIULIZE……. WHERE AND HOW WILL THIS THING END?? USIONE tu RAHA YA SAHII… ASK YOURSELF …. ama NITAJUTA na KULIA the restof my life baada ya ku-make hii decision! If you will be at all the time conscious of the other sideof choices called consequences… you will be safe my dear!
  • 30. AVOID DRUGS BY ALL MEANS EVEN IF YOUR PARENTS OR SIBLINGS DRINK and SMOKE….THATIS NOT A REASON FOR YOU TO GO DOWN THE SAME ROUTE…. CHOOSE TO BE SOBER…. CHOOSE TO BE DIFFERENT..! Do you have a memorable EPISODE YA KUCHAPWA VIZURI na mzazi???...ulikuwa umefanya nini?? Let me share with you what happened to me back whenI was in CLASS 7…. I was deceived by some boys, when I had just become aTeen. They were smoking cigarettes secretly… Remember, I grew up in the village. They gave me a few puffs. They made smoking appear avery cool thing. They taught me how to hold it!...Thento take a deep puff… Halafu…. kupuliza moshi. They trapped me. I thought that was really great! One weekend I decided to smoke again but I had no money. Mimi ni nani?… I decided to make my owncigarette from maize tussles folded in a newspaper! Nikaenda nyuma ya kitchen na nikawasha…. Kumbemama aliniona….
  • 31. She went and told Mzee… Kijana yako ameanzakuvuta sigara….. My friend….heeee….. Dad was feeding cows… he came pole-pole ….akiwa ameshikanisha two stalks of banana leaves.. My friend NILIONA SIKU NDEFU… NILITANDIKWA….I RAN… I CRIED… It’s my neighbor who came to rescue me! Later …. Mzee alinikalisha chini…. He told me how alcohol and Cigarette almost ruin his life. When he finally broke free… He vowed that he willnot allow any of his children to go down the same route. That was the last time I ever tried to smoke and I madeup my mind never to go for drugs! KILE KICHAPO na USHAURI saved me from going theWrong way! Realize that ukiingia hii age ya ujana… umekuwa adolescent …. It is an age of CURIOSITY… YOU FEELLIKE YOU NEED TO TRY OUT EVERYTHING…And by responding unwisely to this urge… many young peoplemake terrible irreversible mistakes. Only fools learn from their own mistakes. Hauhitaji kuchomeka ndio ujue that FIRE CAN BURN!Just look at others who have been burnt and say to yourself…. I WON’T PLAY WITH FIRE!
  • 32. Many boys and girls who END UP CAUSING RIOTS and BURNING SCHOOLS and DESTROYING PROPERTIES are normally UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL AND OTHER DRUGS. My brother, my sister… ALCOHOL and other DRUGSdon’t make anyone… A HERO… they only MAKE ADDICTS! Alcohol is not a Friend but Fools you. You look around…. Or even in your Family…. Look atthose guys who are given to drugs… Tell me if their lives are in a proper shape. The way especially alcohol is advertised it seems to be best thing that ever happened on earth, after the creationof Adam…. They will refer to it …. IMARA KAMA SIMBA… BRING OUT THE REAL YOU…. RAHA KAMILI, KITULIZO CHA MOYO…KIBURUDISHO HALISI…… BEER YANGU, NCHI YANGU… GET NEW CONFIDENCE…. A GOOD DRINK FOR GOOD MOMENTS… all these ARE LIES!!! My dear, one of the greatest temptations you must escape and run away from is …the USE OF ALCOHOLand OTHER DRUGS including MIRAA, CIGARATES, BHANG, KUBER..…
  • 33. Hata kama umesha-anza kutumia…. Please STOP before this thing pushes into an addictionyou may never break away from and that which may ultimately ruin your life. Some boys and girls during our days in school walikuwa wanadunga chupa ya juice na sindano….They drain half of it then… they inject TEI (pombe) back into the juice. Mwalimu anaona ni juice kumbe HALF NI POMBE! Unaona tu wasee wamechangamka mbaya.. kumbe hiyoTEI na NDOM inafanya kazi.! Today there are so many people trying so hard to quitand break free from the addiction to these drugs …. Wewe usijiingize hapo ….Kaa sober! Drugs haziondoi shida, they only make you blind toreality for a moment! Kama kuna stress ama shida nyingine reach out, tafutamsaada, DRUGS ARE NOT A SOLUTION… they are a BIGGER PROBLEM! Kama uko na mambeste wana-take drugs -WAONDOKEE!I told you my story; friends almost got me hooked to smoking! SOBER Is THE TRUE HIGH…. DRUGS only give a FAKE HIGH! My dear bro, my siz, KATAA DRUGS… BE CLEAN… BE SOBER!
  • 34. DON’T RUN INTO ROMANTIC RELATIONSHIPS YOU ARE NOT READY FOR THIS… THUS YOU WILL BE USED … ABUSED AND DUMPED WITH DEEP INJURIES When I was younger, we just played as boys and girls nothing seemed to attract us each to other. Then as I grew to become 12- 13 years … I realized that the girls we grew up with … had changed also. Then my sopranovoice turned into a bass. I became more aware of the thing between my legs. I now knew kumbe watoi are not DROPPED NA NDEGEFROM THE SKY! …as we had been told! They are actually ‘manufactured’ by a man and a woman. I began to see those girls become more lovely and quiteshy! And their breasts stood out and they looked more and more attractive! Lazima niku-show hapa, my Dad, mum, or brothernever told me anything DIRECTLY about SEX and RELATIONSHIPS. Mavijanaa wakubwa kiasi are the ones who would comeand tell us about how you can have a GIRL FRIEND, na vile ya KUM- APPROACH na umwambie I LOVE YOU!!
  • 35. They would push us…. Enda ujaribu…. Later they would tell us how they went kwa BUSH and HAD SEX.. This is happening in CLASS 7- CLASS 8!! At home my parents were tough! The only thing they would say is…. “Unaona msichanawa so-and- so alipata mimba akiwa CLASS 8…. USIJARIBU kugusa MSICHANA WA WENYEWE….” Somehow that fear kept me from danger. Going from there to a boarding and there I met all manner of boys who would speak of how they beganhaving sex at the age of 11 with their house girls. I met bad-boys some who would sneak out of school togo and sleep with cheap village prostitutes. During interschool competitions where boys and girls came together, there would be used condoms in the compound because many dirty things had just happened. I am grateful to God that I got involved in the CHRISTIAN UNION actively. I committed my life to JESUS CHRIST. This togetherwith the advice from the Guiding and Counseling sessions helped me a lot. I was of course tempted but I did not get corrupted into pursuing romantic relationships actively at that time.
  • 36. My brother, my sister….. You have gotten to an agewhere you can clearly see the biological differencesbetween you and the girls or boys. Your body is also secreting hormones. You begin to feel like a woman or like a man. It simply means you are growing and you are normal. That doesn’t mean that you should look for the nextavailable male or female to have sex. At primary or secondary school, please believe me; YOU DON’T NEED A BOYFRIEND…. YOU DON’T NEED A GIRLFRIEND…. Your emotions are playing games on you!! HAKA KABOY ama KAREMBO will be NOWHERE nearyou IN THE NEXT 10 YEARS. Don’t Sacrifice your Virginity to SOME DOG THATYOU WILL NEVER SEE AGAIN! SEX IS GOOD BUT NOT NOW; DON’T LET WHAT IS BETWEEN YOUR LEGS CONTROL WHAT IS BETWEEN YOUR EARS… Sex is for mature married people. It is for cementing the marital union and for procreation. If you are not ready for marriage, don’t even LISTEN TO THE FANTACIES ABOUT SEX!
  • 37. In our days maboys walikuwa wandanganya magirls…na “love-letters” that they used to write kwapink colored papers…. They would write things like… “YOU ARE THE ONLY ISLAND IN MY OCEAN… WHENI THINK OF YOU I CAN’T EVEN SLEEP”… yet huyo jamaa ANADOZZ even KUAMKA KUENDA PREPS ni SHIDA.!! Today, the girl or jamaa anachukua simu ya mathee amabuda anakutext …. And all you think now is how this girl or boy will take me to the moon! POLE SANA…. YOU ARE JUST WASTING EACH OTHERS TIME. It’s ok to have friends of the opposite sex at this age BUT ONLY AS ‘BROTHERS’ AND ‘SISTERS’. Mambo ya MAPENZI na UKO HIGH SCHOOL ama UPPER PRIMARY… achana nayo kabisa….!!! Am advising you as your BIG BROTHER…. These things will only AFFECT YOUR CONCENTRATIONIN CLASS and AFFECT YOUR GRADES NEGATIVELY! They will distract you and destruct your life. Ukidunda Exam… Hao Stivo, Mary, Denno, Alvo, Tasha, Alanny, hautawaona!!!
  • 38. THE LIES IN THE MEDIA ABOUT SEX WHAT TV AND INTERNET HAVE OR MAY TELL YOU ABOUT SEXIS NOT REAL…. THERE IS MORE RESPONSIBILITY THAN PLEASURE IN THIS MATTER. Sometimes I watch the Tv and I look on the internetand I pity my younger brothers and sisters. The media through radio shows and tv programs and movies and some music makes SEX LOOK EASY, SWEETwith NO RESPONSIBILITY ATTACHED… They paint sex simply as … open your legs Do it andgo your way…. THEY ARE LYING TO YOU! Even more affected is the boy-child who is heavily cheated by PORNOGRAPHY…. That you can just geta girl, do your thing and move …. NO! IT IS A LIE! I AM MARRIED and SO I CAN ADVISE YOU…. THE MIND IS THE REAL SEX ORGAN not WHAT IS BETWEEN YOUR LEGS…. That is why the MEDIA IS FULL OF SEXUAL CONTENT so that you SLEEP, DREAM and WAKE UP thinking about sex! Without telling you the strings ofpain attached to sex-outside of proper marriage!!!
  • 39. WHEN YOU FINALY GO TO BED……  5 MINUTES of SEX… and you have made SOMEONE’S DAUGHTER PREGNANT,  5 MINUTES of SEX and you have welcomed someUN- EXPECTED CHILD you can’t sufficiently support!  5 MINUTES of SEX and YOU HAVE an STI or HIV,  5 MINUTES of SEX and YOU GET HOCKED TOAN APPETITE THAT WILL TURN you into an ESTATE or VILLAGE PROSTUTE or BULL!! I AM NOT AN ADVOCATE FOR CONDOMS….. I believe you can guard your mind, your dignity and yourbody until when you are ready for marriage….!!! The consequences of Pre-marital and Under-age sex arejust not worth the 10 minutes pleasure! Save yourself from this trouble! DON’T RUSH to be an ADULT! That time is coming!WAIT UNTIL YOU READY TO SETTLE DOWN IN MARRIAGE! Focus on Education…. Build a Career… MAKE ANAME and MAKE WEALTH before you think of MAKING BABIES!!!..............................Tuko pamoja??
  • 40. FUN & ENTERTAINMENT ARE GOODBUT SHOULD NEVER OVERTAKE STUDY OR WORKING TIME Najua unapenda ngoma…Ngenge tone na wewe nikama kitunguu na nyanya. There arepeople who can’t just go for a whole day without dancing to music. It is true that all of us need time to RELAX and HAVESOME FUN. We need time away from Work or Studyjust to Play or get refreshed! My brother, my sister…. There is safe entertainment but there is also toxic entertainment…. Kama ni shule….. Wakati wa class BE SERIOUS! Wakati wa GAMES …enda ujimbambe…. Go play,Laugh and enjoy yourself.!!!
  • 41. I strongly advise you to get involved into other clubs inschool that will make you more social and active. Usikae tu kila time umejam, hauongei na mtu, hauchekina mtu… umefungia ma-steam kwa kifua… If there is a good song dance to it; Enda church pia, ingia kwa group ya youth and participate in the activities there! What is wrong ni when unaanza kusikiza songs zimejaacursing! !! If there is a video you cannot watch there with a parent…. It’s dirty! Just leave it! It’s not healthy! It’s a virus that will slowly corrupt your morals. My dear, usibebe ka-radio na earphones, umeficha unapeleka high school ama primary school. Don’t even carry a phone to school secondary school. You don’t need them now.
  • 42. Don’t run ahead of time… jaribu sana you focus on thethings that are relevant to your success for now! Major on the major. Kuna time inakuja you will own a home theater and a 72inch TV and big smart phone… yet even when you get there …. you will realize that there are many other important things in life than just kujibamba! Concentrate on what is the main assignment now! Don’t sacrifice your FUTURE on the ALTAR of CHEAP PLEASURE today!
  • 43. LET’S TALK KIDOGO KUHUSU MUSIC THERE IS GOOD MUSIC BUT THERE IS A LOT OF BAD MUSIC EVERYWHERE…. THE MUSIC YOU LISTEN TO WILL ALWAYS DETERMINE THE RHYTHM OF YOUR LIFE…. I strongly feel that we need to discuss kidogo mambo yamuziki. One person once said …. if you can influence the music your young people listen to … then you cancontrol their character and their destiny… And I thinkthat saying is true! Wewe unapenda muziki gani? Do you love Reggae, Raga, Rock and Roll, Genge tone,Bongo flavor, westlife or even zilizo-pendwa..… Am not forcing you to stop listening to some kind of music…. I just want to reason with you. It is said that music is the only thing that does not askyou for permission to change the settings of your mind and emotions. Once you give it an ear, the message of the song begins to form part of your perspective and character. Music can be very entertaining, refreshing and relaxingto the mind and heart yet bad music can cause unimaginable damage.
  • 44. Nowadays my friend, 80 % ya muziki being produced REVOLVES AROUND SEX na KULEWA, KUPARTY na KUKULARAHA! Songs mob on radio ni about ….  VILE YULE MANZI AMEBEBA…  VILE ULE CHALI AMEUNGA….  VILE NAWEZA KUMSHIKA GA-GA-GA-GA.  Nataka NILEWE NIBEBWE NA AMBULANCE….  LIFE NI FUPI NA MIMI SIJIFUNGII…. My friend this is not just entertainment…. These songs are gradually formatting your clean mindand planting MIS-NORMALS into you. Soon utaanza kuona all those wrong things as just beingvery normal! If you listen to 10 SONGS about SEX in a DAY…. Utanza KU-UNDRESS watu kwa AKILI YAKO…. UkionaJamaa ama mrembo akipita unaanza kugeuka karibu unavunja shingo yako as you daydream about how you could have them. Soon you will begin to practice those things unasikiza…. You will listen to Diamond sing aboutMAPENZI…. And you get wild and lustful…
  • 45. Ask yourself WHY DOES THE SAME GUY WHO SEEMS TO BE THE EXPERT WA MAPENZI HAVE SEVERAL BROKEN RELATIONSHIPS and SCANDALS everywhere??? These guys are SINGING FOR MONEY and THEY DON’T CARE HOW YOUR LIVES GET MESSEDUP BY FOLLOWING THE CONTENT OF THEIRSONGS!!! If you listen to songs that encourage drinking, partyingand smoking, masturbation …. bro, siz utajipata umeingia kwa hizo vitu! This is my sincere and humble advice, WACHA WATUWAKUITE MJINGA LAKINI WEWE SAVE FUTURE YAKO. If songs carry UCHAFU hata kama BEAT NI POA… dropthem! Hiyo Beat Ndio Trap… do not fall for it…!! Hautakufa if you only listened to Gospel songs andother clean music!
  • 46. LET’S TALK ABOUT DRESSING AND FASHION So many young people are caught in the madness of fashion! Wanataka wapige-look kama ya some musicianor footballer. They want the latest hood and jeans and cap! The latest dress, the latest hair style, Makucha, ma-piercing, ma-tatoo, top kali- kali. In the process many boys and girls are dying to become photocopies of the people they see on TV! Many young people are trying to find their Identity in Cloth Brands and New Fashions. They think kama sijavaa GUCCI then sijavaa kitu. Please listen to me on this matter…. Kila mtu huzaliwaakiwa NAKED! True of False…? So before you ever dressed in any cloths you already were a person. Ni wewe unavaa nguo …sio nguo inakuvaa. Sio lazima uvae nguo kali ndio ujue you arevaluable…Your value comes from God not Nguo! As long as you are decent, usijipatie pressure!!! People on TV and in the music videos are in business! Some of them are putting on borrowed or rented clothes just to put up a show!
  • 47. Don’t die to dress beyond what you can afford. Don’t even give trouble to your parents to buy you the latest dress or T- shirt. If you depend on your parents …vaa ile kitu wazazi wanaweza ku-afford. Also DON’T WALK NAKED IN THE NAME OF FASHION. My sister… USIONYESHE KILA MTU KITOVU NA MATITI. It is not fashionable its indecency! My brother …USIFUNGIE TROUSER KWA MATAKO…. Sagging that trouser is not cool… it only shows that something is sagging in your mind. Walking around nakifua yote iko exposed is not the cool thing to do…. That shirt has buttons for a reason…. Button up bro! Dame anadress kama boy, boy anajido kama dame isn’t cool. Kitakuramba. Every trending thing will soon disappear…. Don’t hangyour life on it! Some of those hot trends are also demonic. They are created to mislead many young people into rebellion and cause them to destroy their own lives. Kindly be careful! Don’t join the choir of fools who will be singing… mydress my choice... Remember YOU WILL BE ADDRESSED DEPENDING ON HOW YOU ARE DRESSED… Huwezi kuuvaa kama kahaba and expect tobe addressed kwa heshima. Huwezi kuvaa kama jambazi na watu wakuone kama mtu poa.
  • 48. Don't copy what you don't know... Usiende kuchorwa tattoo kwa sababu uliona KaligraphJones akiwa nayo... First you don't know the origin ya tattooing: Second you don’t know the meaning of that image una-chorwa. Third you don't know the health risks involvedincluding the possibility of getting skin cancer. And Forth take this example…you are getting the name of a Girlfriend or a football team Permanently tattooed on you ...then after 2years mnaachana.!!! Kindly don’t just see some pop-star ametoboa kila mahali… then wewe unaweka ma-pins kwa ulimi …kwa macho .. kwa kitovu… everywhere…!!! Siz, some things don’t display beauty they simply express how confused you are…. Don’t go for them!! As I have already said to you... BEFORE YOU DOANYTHING... Think about the consequences ….. Your opinions may change with time but the mess you have done may live with you for the rest of your life. Most trendy things are not good; most trendy things aretemporal; most trendy things are traps; Most trendy things are not worth sacrificing your body, soul and spirit for!!!
  • 49. BE AWARE OF GROWING “DEVILWORSHIP” IN SCHOOLS I was really avoiding to make hii discussion look like ni Ambassador anakuhubiria but siwezi ku-avoid mentioning some spiritual matters to you. You will agree with me katika hii age yako … you have asharp mind and you want to experiment on many things. There are things utafanya na they will turn out well na kuna zingine unaweza kujaribu na life yako igeuke upside down. We have seen in the news of many school children waki-faint at the same time even others claiming they see strange things like ghost in the school compound. When I was in school kuna 3 ladies walipigwa expulsionkwa sababu walikuwa kwa free mason. Walikuwa ni devil worshippers. And those ladies walikuwa wana- recruit other girls kujoin devil worship. Those girls walikuwa na pesa always… box zao zilikwa na blueband, ma-juo, ma-spices, milo na chocolate na powder milk… yaani chakula ya DH hawaitambui… ukiwaangalia utatamani kukaa kama wao. SO WALITUMIAHIYO LIFE-STYLE KU-SEDUCE OTHER GIRLS KUINGIA KWA MADEVO.
  • 50. They were reported…. Wakabambwa… Walikuwa wamejaribu kuchoma shule… Waka-confess… walisema they had recruited 49 students na walikataakuwataja…. They said walikuwa wametumiwa kumess life ya parents wao… and even one had sacrificed his mother… Another alikuwa …akilala anatoka kwabody anatumiwa kusababisha ma-accidents... mwingine akilala anaendaa chini ya ocean anakulanyama za binadamu and other strange things. Let me tell you quite frankly; Kwa hizi chuo,… primary, secondary, colleges and Universities kuna ma-agents wa Devo…. Some of them ni wanafunzi na wengine ni walimu. Catch this…. the devil hataki wazae wamechapa … wenye hawana hiyo zeal ati ndio wamtumikie… Devo anatafuta vijanaa wenye wako na destiny kubwa… wenye wako na bidii…. Anawa-target…. Ana-hijack mind zao… anawaingiza kwa covenantskwa secret societies za ushetani… then anaanza kuwatumia kama foot soldiers wa kuleta destruction kwa society.
  • 51. There are so many boys and girls wanatoka home wakiwa very innocent; anafika shule, boy mmoja ama manzi mmoja anamdanganya …. ati .. “kuna group nataka uingie halafu utapewa Pesa… utafwanywa kuwa powerful; hata walimu hawatakuchezea” … Na usipochunga my dear ukiingia kwa hiyo trap wewe uta-sell soul yako kwa shetani so easily like that!! I am kindly advising you…. Ukienda shule usitamani life ya wengine because huyoanakaa ako na perfume kali ama pesa mingi… wewe ulienda kusoma…. Focus on that.! Also if a Teacher or a Student akikwambia … kuna SECRET GROUP anataka ujoin… ONDOKEA HIYO STORY…na AVOID HUYO MTU KABISA… Akikupress, USINYAMAZE…. akikwambia ati watakumaliza ukisemahiyo story…. USITISHIKE …. TOA SAUTI JOH...TALK TO YOUR PARENT… TALK TO YOUR CU PATRON/MATRON or CU CHAIR…. Or Guiding and counseling teacher…..SAWA! Some of these people wana-recriut watu kupitia GIFTS na CHAKULA… Please usikubali KUPEWA CHAIN, ama RING ama WRIST- BAND ama NGUO ama CHAPO ama JUO na Mtuhaumjui vizuri….
  • 52. Kuna RING ama CHAIN unaweza-pewa and from thereon una-dream uko under the sea.. ama una-attend meetings na watu huelewi… ama una-feel YOUR SOULINA-SEPARATE FROM THE BODY because hiyo kitu ulipewa ilikuwa na powers za shetani. Am not saying this to scare you nataka nikuasidie…. INCASE HII MAMBO IMEKUFANYIKIA ALREADY… PLEASE PLEASE… USINYAMAZE… TELL YOUR DAD OR MUM… THEY WILL REACH-OUT FOR HELP…. TUTAKUOMBEA… WE SHALL HELP YOU TO BREAK-FREE NA UTAKUWA POA KABISA…. Solution kwa hii story ni… 1. Be alert mtu asikudanganye… 2. Usi-join any secret group; 3. Uki-sense ni kama you are losing your independence… kuna masauti unasikia na umeanza kuwa na strange dreams… SPEAK OUT! 4. You can’t defeat the devil na chemistry, physicsama Pythagoras theory ya maths… you need JESUS…. TAFUTA GOD! Okoka! 5. Be prayerful… huwezi kumshinda shetani bila maombi…. Omba ukiamka… Omba ukienda kwa bed… Enda church… be serious na God… you will overcome all!!!
  • 53. BE WARNED ABOUT THE INCREASINGCASES OF HOMOSEXUALITY & LESBIANISM IN OUR SCHOOLS Some things have remained a taboo to speak about openly but I think OUR SILENCE has been the fertile ground in which bad habits such as homosexuality andlesbianism now grow and thrive. My brother, my sister as you move on especially to highschool uta-discover kuna habits mbaya za machali na mamanzi kugeuka na kuwa ma-gay. LET ME EXPLAIN… The intelligent God ali-create mwanadamu.................Male and female ….lakini …there are people who think that…God alikuwa chizi.........So they promote same-sex relationships and even marriages.... You will go to school na unapata a girl Kama weweanaanza kukukatia.. anakuambia ati you are so hot....you are so sexy.... Wewe na ujinga wako unafikiria ni jokes tu... Soon she begins to tell you … “you know I really love you”......Na remember ni Dem Kama wewe. ! Anaanza kukununulia ma-gifts....
  • 54. Then ana move-on kuku-shika-shika.. anataka um- kiss...then mkienda washroom... She wants to see yourprivate parts !!! THIS IS HAPPENING KWA SHULE MOB SANA ..................!!! Very innocent girls wanaingia chuo wakiwa straightthen shortly wanageuzwa wanakuwa MA-LELE (Lesbians). Yaani… mrembo wewe ulienda kusoma then unajikuta umekuwa Bibi ya Dem mwingine ......... How??? Kwa boy-schools pia the same is happening... I remember in our high school Kuna several students walikuwa expelled because walikuwa MA-HOMO ... (homosexuals) yet ilikuwa mixed school. How does it happen... There are boys and teachers who already wame-spoil... They are not looking for girls and women to have sexwith ............ Ni wanaume lakini wanataka ku-have sex na maboys. They will befriend you. They may show you a lot of kindness... Wanaku- protect... They make you feel you are indebted tothem.
  • 55. Baadaye wanaanza ku-introduce stories za sex .... They will ask you for example…how many styles of sexyou know ............They always introduce you first to masturbation.... So then you begin to do it together... Slowly they gain control over you and before you knowit … mahali unatumia kuenda choo… ndio unapatia mwanaume ukutumie Kama mwanamke ............................................ aaaah!!! In some cases younger boys have been forcefully sodomized by bully homosexual groups. The victims become so ashamed to speak about it…. Slowly some ofthose victims begin to think it is normal… and later theytoo begin to practice homosexual acts themselves…!!! My dear, this is not stuff that we would want to discussevery day but it is happening na maboys na magirls wengi wanaingia kwa hii trap! God hakuwa mjinga aki-make wanyama na watu …male and female...........God haku-make ADAM and STEVE... ama CARO n EVE.... This idea ya kuwa HOMO ama LELE is PURELY DEMONIC... It is ungodly and clearly against nature!! Mtu asikudanganye ati ...........“You know It’s JUST A DIFERRENT SEXUAL ORIENTATION”....NO...................!!!
  • 56. Don’t buy the lie that… some people are born with homosexual tendencies… IT IS NOT GENETIC!!... Hii niTabia watu wana-learn then they go on to recruit and abuse watoi inocent na ku-destroy life zao…period!!! My brother, you are male....tosheka hivyo... In future you will marry and become a husband and a father ..... Hivyo ndio God alikupangia.!! My sister, you are female... tosheka hivyo... In future you will get married and become a wife and a mother ....That's how God intended! Just Incase ulikiwa umeingia kwa hii ngori ya uhomo nana ulele... Don't sink further... Speak out... Talk to someone you trust .............who won't judge you.....Who will counsel you or find a counselor for you. Also you will need to be prayed for…since hii kitu nispiritual in as much as it is habitual ….na utakuwa straight as God made you. Ukiona mtu anakukaribia and they are behaving in a funny way as I have suggested here ... Hepa.................................save your life from this corruption ........... Hata Bible inaita such practices... ABOMINATIONS............Things that should not be imagined …live alone being done!!
  • 57. Another thing related to this I feel ni poa niku-warn... Kwa high school many teachers are good but there arefew who have messed up lives za students by abusing them sexually. Brother, don’t ever imagine that madam wako can be your girlfriend…Just because you have a big body...!!Don't even entertain the thought of ever sleeping with your teacher. My sister, Kuna walimu wapoa lakini pia kuna mafisi...!!! You can get a male teacher anaku-favoralways... Anaku- befriend........................................Then Kila time ana- comment on the shape of your buttocks and breasts andbefore long anakuita staffroom alone usiku ama kwa teacher’s quarters ama kwa hoteli so that he can have sex with you. These things are happening!!!! Chanuka....ukiona kitu Kama hiyo... Usinyamaze................Take off and Report......... Usianze kulea mtoto na wewe bado ni mtoto.!!! I decided to share these things openly kwa sababu they are real ..................They are happening and many lives are being destroyed. I hope and strongly pray that these traps don't nest anymore teenagers especially after reading this piece.
  • 58. DOING RIGHT IS FOR YOUR SAKE; DON’T WAIT TO BE POLICED AROUND From the time when I was in upper primary up to the time I got to high school, I often struggled to understandwhy there seemed to be so many rules everywhere…. School insisted that my hair should be well combed, myclothes needed to be neat; I should have my shirt tuckedin, I should arrive on time for preps…and so on… At some point I would feel mwalimu and mzazi werejust pushing me too much…. On the contrary…. It looked cool to be rough, careless and rude. One day, Mrs Gatimu at Anestar High school called me and talked to me…. He said … “Mbugua, HII MAISHA NI YAKO, UKIFANYA VIZURI ..UNAJIFAIDI, IF YOU DO WRONGUNAHARIBU YOUR OWN LIFE” …. He told me, “Mbugua... Mimi ni Mwalimu, I have My Degree, I have a job, I have a salary, I have a Family…HAKUNA KITU NATAKA KWAKO….Am justhere to help you become someone better in life”
  • 59. He told me… “Doing the right thing … is not for theteacher …the parent… for God… or for the Community … it’s for your own good.” That teacher drove some sense into my little head… Sometimes unaweza kufikiria you are very smart … Unafanya ujanja … unadanganya walimu, hata unawezachange grades kwa report card ukienda home… you can think umempiga chenga your guardian… THE TRUTHhowever ni … wewe mwenyewe una-waste time yako, unajichenga na kujidanganya my dear! My bro, my siz…. If you asked me, from the depth of myheart, nitakushow … JUST DO THE RIGHT THING…. USINGOJE KIBOKO… My primary school teacher used to say… ukingoja kiboko ndio ubadilishe mwelekeo thenwhat is the difference between you na punda?... we could laugh …but it made a lot of sense.!! As I look at you today… I believe you can be self-driven, you can be disciplined at home and at school. And as you do so, nakupromise you will not get into trouble. Your grades will improve. You will become happy and fulfilled. Wachia Punda na mwizi mambo ya kukimbizwa na kupigwa… sawa??
  • 60. REFUSE TO BE IDLE AND LAZY AN IDLE MIND IS THE DEVIL’S WORKSHOP…. I grew up hearing that statement from primary through to secondary school. I think whoever came up with thatstatement really thought through it. Proverbs 6: 10-11 rightfully puts it… “A little extra sleep, a little more slumber,a little folding of the hands to rest— then poverty will pounce on you like a bandit; scarcity will attack you like an armed robber.” Life and success do not favor those who sit and wait for things to happen. Success will only be achieved by thosewho fold their sleeves, put their hands and minds at something and push in all their efforts and thoughts. Hard work is not a curse. Everything you see arounddid not just happen by magic… somebody made it to happen.!! Today maboys na magirls wengi wanataka watulie tu … wafanyiwe kila kitu. At home hawezi kumop hao…Hawezi kupika hata Chai…. Hawezi kujifulia nguo ati because there is a house-help…. My friend… You will soon go to college …
  • 61. Utaishi man-solo …. If you depend on the house-help for everything how will you survive in the near future? Usikae kwa nyumba ikiwa chafu…. Clean it!Kama compound ni chafu…. Sweep it! Usijifanye ati the only thing you can handle well… ni REMOTE YA TV!!! Changamka msee…. ALWAYS GET INVOLVED IN WHAT IS HAPPENING IF IT IS THE RIGHT THING! Ukiwa SHULE don’t just come from BED, TO CLASS, TO THE DINNING HALL THEN BACK TO BED….please find some sport or any co-curricular activity …may bechoir… debate… drama…. clubs… scouts…. BE ACTIVE!! This will help you to discover other potentials gifts andtalents you have. . Ukiwa home, please usipotelee tu kwa Play station na Tv na movies…. Get involved actively in the conversations and activities around you. This will keepyour mind from straying into laziness and wrong influence!!!
  • 62. PLEASE UNDERSTAND YOUR PARENTS IF YOU HAVE PARENTS OR A GUARDIAN. THANK GOD… PLEASE NOTE THAT …THEY MEAN WELL FOR YOU…. BEHAVEWELL TOWARDS THEM BECAUSE YOU NEED A PARENTAL BLESSING FROM THEM When we were younger, many times we didn’t realizethe real conditions of our families. We were just kids!Tukianza ku- grow and to understand things some realities became open to us. It gets to a time when you may realize that the man youhave been calling Daddy is not your Biological Dad. Kumbe your mother got you with another man beforeshe got married to your present father…. My dear, please understand your mum! As you grow you will realize life does not always travelin a straight line. Some things are too painful that mum or dad may not even afford the courage to explain everything that happened to you. Ukijipata na mum alone… She is a single mother…. Or with Dad alone… He is a single Dad… My dear kuna story huyo mzazi alipitia which may not be easy totell you now…. Just understand them….sawa??
  • 63. Sometime later if necessary you may get to know part ofor even the whole story. Incase Mum or Dad remarried and you find yourselfwith a step father or mother…. Siz … Bro… Usiwapatie pressure…. If they love you, they dress you…. They take you to school… Don’t listen to maneno ya watu! Obey them and love them! Remember there are other kids who are total orphans…. There are kids on the streets who only wish they had a shelter over them and a regular meal and probably somebody to sponsor them through school. Kindly catch this…, YOU ARE NOT A BIOLOGICAL ACCIDENT…. YOU ARE NOT A MISTAKE….You are a unique human being with a special destiny! Hauna control over what transpired or maybe is currently happening between your parents. Don’t lose focus! Your parents may have their own faults, Mzee anawezakuwa mlevi… Don’t join him but ….Don’t fight him! Mum and dad could have their own differences usiingilie vita huwezi ku-win!!!
  • 64. Don’t fight your mother and Don’t fight your father! Usitukane mzazi! Ni laana! My dear bro, my dear siz…. You need the blessing ofthat or those parents. Don’t push them to the point where they cry or bitterly lament over you. Bitter words of a parent will make your life bitter! Your parents may not afford to buy you everything youwant! Respect them! Understand them! Your parents MAY SAY NO to some of your requests. They mean well for you. Kuna vitu… my friend hujui….Ukikatazwa .. kubali tu!!! Your parents may discipline you….. They don’t hateyou… They mean well for you! Respect them! Parents are an authority from God over you…. HAKUNA place hii dunia where you will not be subject to authority… Zoea mapema ku-submit to authority…If you find it difficult submitting to the authority ya MZAZI even if you go to AMERIKA… you will get intotrouble with the authorities, there…!! Note also that …Your parents may be struggling to put food on the table. They may be not be as outgoing and educated as your friend’s parents…. They are your parents, … Love them respect them…!! They carry yourblessing. Purpose in your heart to become great and change their circumstances!!!
  • 65. REMEMBER GOD IN THE DAYS OF YOUR YOUTH Our Christian Union patron in high school always reminded us … you can’t end well as a young personIF YOU IGNORE GOD! He would tell us that …the Challenges young peopleface can easily break them if they don’t build their Faith in God and Shape their morality around the Word of God! The man would tell us … If you IGNORE GOD as a YOUNG PERSON, you will enter into MESSES that willbreak your LIFE IN THE END! My friend, today many young people find it very unfashionable to go to church. They would rather go fora dance-party or a music concert than attend a church service. I will however tell you openly that…One of the placeswhere your life can be shaped properly is the place of worship. Not just going to be counted kwamba you attended…. I mean you personally becoming seriouskabisa na GOD!
  • 66. Love God with all your heart…. With all your mind...and with all your strength… If the school has a Christian union …join and be active…. Pray always when you wake up and when yousleep. Read your Bible. Attend church youth seminars and conferences. If you are in Church, be active, learn how to play the keyboard,… play the guitar… play the drums…. Volunteer to serve as an usher or to teach the youngerkids in the Sunday school. Try to practice the word of God. Where you can’t understand… ask from your youthpastor or patron. I have learnt that … if you give God priority, he willtake you places in life beyond your imagination. It is not foolish to follow and to serve God. It is notstupid to be godly ….its wisdom! God has a tendenacy of picking up a NOBODY , to become a SOMEBODY , in front of EVERYBODY , without asking ANYBODY and that is why he remains GOD. You need this GOD. The wisest man who ever lived, Solomon, he gave us the conclusion of the matter…. He said it is … TO FEAR GOD AND KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS. Do exactly that ….and your life will grow from better to excellent ........sawa???
