Editor's Notes

  1. The programme continues on the basis of the projects from the 2004-2009 period.Capacity building at the meso-level (regional teacher training colleges) is the way to improve the quality of education and training in selected fields.Regional teacher training colleges train future lower secondary school teachers. RTTC Kandal has approx. 400 students of whom approx. 120 study a science subject.
  2. In Cambodia earth science is a different subject from geography. Earth science comprises cosmography, meteorology, geology, geomorphology and some elements of enviromental science.
