“Red” connotes danger and
blood as well as love and
lust so we thought it would
fit well with the storyline.
However there is already an
existing successful film
with this name
“The Drop” was the one
that we liked the most as it
was catchy ad didn’t give
to much away. It linked to
the text that the protagonist
receives. However this is
the name for an existing
recent TV series.
“Snake” relates to
our story line as the
femme fetale is sly
and not to be
trusted. It led onto
other ideas such as
“venom” but we
felt snake related
titles may give the
wrong impression
to the audience
We like “Lockdown”, it’s
really catchy and the
meaning of the phrase
fits nicely with our plot

4. WHY LOCKDOWN?
• DEFINITION:
- “The confining of prisoners to their cells, typically in order
to regain control during a riot.”
This fits our plot due to the femme fetale wanting to
catch the protagonist to make sure society is safe and his
drugs are no longer a problem.
• 2nd DEFINITION:
- “A state of isolation or restricted access instituted as a
security measure.”
We used this definition as a representation of the
protagonists character as he is often in single shots and feels
isolated from his wife, and she feels the same.
