Leadership Development Community- I was involved in a year-long learning community where we attended
classes once a week on leadership.
Resident Assistant Training- I attended the resident assistant class at CSU, where I learned leadership skills and
how to create an inclusive environment for students.
Volunteering:
 Cooking Matters- Volunteered with a government-sponsored program at The Family Center of Fort Collins
to aid in teaching nutrition and cooking lessons to low- income families.
o Developed a pamphlet for proper food storage to reduce food insecurity and encourage
vegetable consumption.
 Alpha Center- I am a peer mentor for girls who are interested in having counseling in the areas of healthy
sexual relationships and dating relationships.
 Three Rivers Natural Medicine- I shadowed a Naturopathic Doctor in a home clinic to observe his practice
with patients in the areas of nutrition and alternative medicine.
 iEmpathize- Spent two weeks in Mexico City, Mexico with an organization advocating against human
trafficking and working with victims at a safe home.
 Antioch Community Church- I am involved with the College ministry and various mission trips to Mexico
and India.
