– Big Brother?
• NorthStar Cube has the ability to know what and
where things are located within your household
• Privacy is clearly invaded as docking station maps
out whole household and saves information
• Is there somebody watching or listening into what
you are doing within your house/ or Is information
transmitted back to NorthStar?

• Short-term
– This product will appeal to the general public during these
upcoming holiday seasons
– Will create competition with other domestic robot creators
– Only works for small areas not from room to room
• Long-term
– Mint will become one of the founders of GPS based
domestic robots as a model for future products that may
come along with better improvements and features.
– May soon become outdated as has occured with previous
versions of domestic robots such as Roomba and several
others

• Fad or Here to Stay?
– Fad
– Only good for a small area
– More affordable than competitors but still not in average budget
– May not benefit those without hardwood or flat surface areas
– Innovations and modifications to the domestic robot industry
within the next fewer years or months will lead Mint to the
bottom of the list as technology frequently changes
– We have seen many self cleaning robots but none can
compare to the intelligence of a human when associated with
cleaning or organizing
