Paul offers his readers frequent treatments of and references to the Return of Christ. In this presentation, I examine one of his two quintessential rapture/resurrection passages and seek to place its elements in the context of our everyday Christian life.

2. Modern Christians too easily treat
teachings on the Rapture and
Resurrection as optional add-ons to an
otherwise effective Christian life.
Paul considered these teachings
“elementary” (Hebrews 6:1) with respect
to the Christian experience.
So, dear Watson, let’s deal with all
things elementary.
