PERSONAL STATEMENT OF SALVATION AND CALL TO MINISTRY:

Since the age of five, I have always had a profound love for God. Through God’s grace and His
assistance, I have developed a deep interest in Christ and in His Word. Moreover, I am wise enough
to know that I could not have been drawn to Christ in such manner on my own. I needed His help. I
came to salvation at age five, having a clear understanding of what it meant to believe in Jesus and to
accept Him as my Lord. Throughout my adolescence, teenage years and so on, I have always felt
called to the Gospel ministry in some capacity. Whether through pulpit evangelism, outreach or even
the creative arts, I always felt the unction of God’s spirit pushing me to commit to His work. No
matter how much I tried to “fit in” with the secular culture, it was never a comfortable fit. I have had
opportunity to work musically with Grammy Award winning artists, but because it was not ministry,
it never worked. And I felt the pain of rejection and isolation. So, when I was called to preach the
Gospel in 1997, I knew then that this is what God created me to do. I love the Lord, I love His Word
and I love His church. I wound not have life any other way.

4. DOCTRINAL STATEMENT OF FAITH AND BELIEF

I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ His only divine
Son our Lord, equal in essence. I believe He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin
Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead and buried. The third day He rose from the
dead, He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. From there He
shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, who is also equal in essence,
the holy universal Christian church, the communion of the saints, the forgiveness of sins, the
resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. I believe the Old and New Testaments to be the
infallible Word of God, inerrant as originally given, verbally inspired by God, the complete and
sufficient revelation of His will for salvation and conduct. I believe in the Great Commission, which
is to proclaim the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to the uttermost parts of the earth. Amen.
