Karnataka Conveyors and Systems Pvt. Ltd is a small
scale industry which is into the manufacturing of
conveyor belts. It is also an exporting firm which caters
to the needs of giant manufacturing concerns by
manufacturing different conveyor belts.
Conveyor is the equipment used to transfer the
goods/machine from one place to another with less effort
and less man power.
3. The conveyor industry actually started about many years
ago (1900) in the Minneapolis St. Paul area by group of
men unloading wood shingles from rail cars.
Conveyors primarily perform the movement of uniform
loads between fixed points. They may be fixed as
portable conveyors, straight or circulars ones.
Currently dominant players in this segment are Godrej,
Volta’s, Larsen and Turbo etc.
There are also few small players spread across the
country.

7. The marketing process begins when the marketing
representatives or the agents are sent to the customers to gather
information about their product requirements.
Then a design is prepared according to the requirements of the
customers.
Quotation is issued to the customer & if the customer is
satisfied with the Quotation then the customer will place the
order.
After receiving the order the production work begins. During
the production if any charges are to be made, then the approval
of the customers will be taken to do so.
8. The quality control department inspects the quality at
various stages.
First, when the raw material is unloaded, the raw materials
are inspected.
Secondly, the quality control department inspects the in-
process materials.
Then inspection is done to check whether the parts are
assembled to get the right product.
Finally, the quality control department does the final
inspection, which is done after the conveyors are
manufactured.
