Job Responsibilities:
The Senior Manager- Sales & Distribution is responsible for the sales performance of the General
trade Channel for the assigned region in north India. I assist the Vice President – Ambient
Products, in delivering the overall territory sales objectives, supervise, fine-tune and monitor the
execution and takes pro-active initiatives to cease every opportunity to increase the sales in
accordance with the companies’ policies and strategies.
Business Objectives --
1) To evolve & achieve Annual Business Plans/ Quarterly Business Plan for the defined region,
referring to budgets, coverage and volume through team.
2) To ensure accurate Sales forecasting –SKU wise for the region based on sound analysis and
support the supply chain team for correct planning.
3) Develop different trade channels conducting Strategic tie-ups, consumer promotions, building
relations & image of overall existence of the company in General Trade.
4) To achieve volume and value objectives of the assigned region within budget, time and policy
parameters through efficient control of distributor network under charge.
5) Pro-active daily contact with Regional Sales team to support their business, and to gradually
take the business forward.
6) Smooth claim processes for the distributors with active help from the Regional Sales team
7) Monitoring monthly activities/ promotional calendar specific to channels
8) Strategize / execute brand objectives within budget and time. Liasoning with Cluster head/
Store Head for branding activities at stores for promoting Ambient and FPD.
9) Develop new business opportunities for the region.
10) Extensive traveling within the region in order to get market insights

basis the outlets / Trade activity calendar.
4) Ensure Best in class Merchandising (display/ visibility).
5) Responsible for Correct Placements & maintaining all Company Marketing Assets.
Financial Responsibilities—
1) Operate Trade Schemes and visibility activities as budgeted for the defined period.
2) Settling Distributor and Outlet Claims (damages, trade schemes, misc. debit notes) within
stipulated timeframe.
3) Responsible and Budget Adherence for the Travel/ Food/ Accommodation and other msc.
Expenses for the region.
Administration/ Competition Tracking Responsibilities--
1) Report Accurate Timely Information as scheduled and in the defined regular format.
2) Monitor Activities and Sales Promotions on weekly / monthly basis to determine deviations
from plans and take necessary corrective actions.

Sales & Marketing - The core Responsibility finally boils down to setting, planning and expanding
