Course Overview
 Level 2 training – If passed, the certificate is valid for 5 years.
 Level 3 and 4 training – If passed, the certificate is valid for 2 years
Who Needs This Program
This program is aimed at persons in critical positions involving well control during well
intervention operations. Well Intervention Pressure Control courses are offered at various role
-specific levels for well services personnel with a requirement to hold an IWCF or IADC Well
Control certificate.
 Level 2 is designed for first-time candidates.
 Level 3 is designed for operators.
 Level 4 is designed for supervisors.

Content
The certification standards in our program are based on the
pressure control knowledge required by service equipment
operators and supervisory personnel in their jobs. These
standards have been devised so that the measurement of
candidate’s knowledge can be assessed systematically.
The following certification options are provided and are
made up of compulsory and optional components:
 Completion Operations (compulsory)
 Completion Equipment (compulsory)
 Coiled Tubing Operations (optional)
 Wireline Operations (optional)
 Snubbing Operations (optional)
Candidates must attempt both compulsory components
and one or more optional component in a combined certifi-
cation program. However, to obtain a combined certificate,
candidates must pass each component they have been
nominated for.
COURSE DETAILS
Re-sit Policy
 If the candidate fails on 2 compulsory components, he
is not be eligible for re-sit, and must attend a new
course.
 If one candidates fails one component at 66% and
above, they are eligible fro an instant re-sit or to come
back within 90 days re-sit period. The cost for an
instant re-sit payable on the day is USD 200 (IWCF
invigilation charge) and USD 50 per paper.
 If returning within 90 days only USD 50 per paper
applies.
 If candidate fails one compulsory and/or one or more
optional exam component at 65% or below, they are
not eligible for an instant re-sit. They must receive
further training in the areas of weakness must be
confirmed by PetroSync and will be charged USD 1000
per training day and USD 100 per paper.

CANCELLATION POLICY
If the booking is cancelled with more than ten (10)
working days prior to the training course, a refund
may be requested ( USD 200 admin charge) or the
delegates may rebook at no extra cost.
Delegates who cancel less than ten (10) working days
of the training course, or who do not attend the
course, are liable to pay the full course fee and no
refunds will be granted.
In the event that PetroSync cancels or postpones an
event for any reason and that the delegate is unable or
unwilling to attend in on the rescheduled date, you will
receive a credit voucher for 100% of the contract fee
paid. You may use this credit voucher for another
PetroSync to be mutually agreed with PetroSync,
which must occur within a year from the date of
postponement.
PetroSync is not responsible for any loss or damage as
a result of the cancellation policy. PetroSync will
assume no liability whatsoever in the event this event
is cancelled, rescheduled or postponed due to any Act
of God, fire, act of government or state, war, civil
commotion, insurrection, embargo, industrial action,
or any other reason beyond management control.

As per IWCF information Notice No 2012-02, candi-
dates must not miss more than total 4 hours training
to be eligible to take the exam
