1. How did you use media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages? By Stephanie Hakesley
2. Macbook Pro I used my Laptop as it was easier to keep everything in one place and I already had appropriate software such as Final Cut Pro Studio 7 and Photoshop.
3. Final Cut Pro Studio 7 Final Cut Pro Studio 7 is an editing software which I already had available to me. I was already familiar with how to use Final Cut, so it was easy to use in order to capture, edit and add special effects to my footage.
4. Microsoft Powerpoint In order to create Slideshows such as these and to present my information in an easy format I have used Windows Microsoft Powerpoint for Mac. It is simple and easy to use, displaying information effectively and in an organised way.
5. Microsoft Word Microsoft word (along with Excel) were used to input my information from my primary research. I also used Word to document all my work before putting it on my Blog. The shotlists were easy to number and keep ordered in Word and I could store several documents together.
6. Adobe Photoshop I already had Photoshop and after my AS Coursework Production, I was familiar with how to use Photoshop. I edited photos of Naina (main character) in order to make my marketing materials match with the song and fit appropriate with the genre.
7. Filming For filming I used a Sony Digital Camera and Mini DV tapes. I had to use a tripod and a lighting kit for some scenes. I used different camera functions and I also used a Tracking Device, this was used to capture shots such as the dancing shots where the characters were moving a lot and it looked best when I followed them with the camera!
8. Blogging I chose to use weebly.com – it was different to what everyone else was using, so was not as easy to receive/make comments with the other groups, but personally I preferred it to vox.com (which I used at AS.) Weebly.com was easy to use and kept everything organised. Slideshare.com was also used to upload Powerpoints such as this!
