The Materials Manager will be required for the
 Delivery of Materials Solutions budget revenue and profit.
 Low level bid preparation and submission
 Day to day management and direction of the Materials Management business unit.
 Day to day management of the Sales front desk activities.
 Development and negotiation of new customer agreements.
 Management of the customer in terms of revenue and order intake
 Development of plans to address financial targets and product initiatives as appropriate.
 Production of Key business internal and external KPI’s.
 Upkeep and maintenance of ERP data to ensure data accuracy.
 Asset management & product tracking activities.
 Materials planning of 3PL customer requirements, inc rotable returns
 National price list development and ongoing management, inc PPL interface
 Industry benchmarking & pricing of competitors products
 Creation and development and upkeep of knowledge & benchmarking database
 Development of segmented pricing policy and associated business tools

2.  Implementation and Management of a profit improvement plan for external sales by
product segmentation
 Bid support and costing for managed portfolio.
 Support of 3PL Distributor Agreements with KEY Suppliers
 Interfacing with OE Suppliers, Engineering, Production, Procurement, Finance and other
business divisions as appropriate.
