In 1979, I joined the Egyptian military service as an officer Engineer at fuel Corps. I was a
leader of equipment maintenance workshop .
In 1982, I worked as a site engineer in the natural gas sector in Cairo at William Press
Group (was leading British engineering business which merged with Leonard Fairclough & Son
to become a FTSE 100 Company).
I work for thirty years in the water works sector at Saudi Arabia and participated in the
development and expansion of AlKharj city and its suburbs water infrastructure such as
artesian and Shallow wells, desalination and treatment plants, pumping and booster stations,
and all other Water infrastructure mechanical and electrical elements.
AlKharj Integrated Water project
The objective of the project is to Feeding AlKharj city and its suburbs with desalinated water
from one central project by reverse osmosis technology. The project is on two phases . The
total capacity of the project is 100,000 cubic meters per day. The first phase costs 400 million S.R..
Responsibilities:
1) Participated in the preparation Committee of the project
2) Member of supervising Committee that was following up the project implementation.
3) Preparing studies of water quality and developing of submersible pumps specs.
4) Introducing a proposal and required designs to linking existed shallow wells to the new
project and designing pumping stations required for this.
5) Introducing a proposal and required designs to develop and update the water tower to
link it to the project.
6) Member of the committee that is testing the use of Nanotech Ceramic membranes and
Following up the test project and making reports to use this technology in the integrated
Water project.
7) Supervising the implementation of the project , the digging of the project's deep wells,
the pipelines that linking them to the project.

AlKharj Western Suburbs Water Pumping Station
The objective of the project is to facing the urban expansion in the city western suburbs which
is on a higher level than the rest of the city. The capacity of the project is 24,000 cubic meters
per day. It took one year and half to complete the project.
Responsibilities:
1) Introducing a proposal and preparing studies.
2) Preparing required designs and writing specs for the station and the connecting pipelines.
3) managing the implementation process of the project and the installation of all equipments
and pipelines.
AlKharj Main Water Pumping Station Development
The objective of the development is to increase the pumping capacity from 40,000 to 75,000
cubic meters per day which enable the pumping to the water tower and covering AlKharj
southern neighborhoods. The project costs 8 million S. R..
Responsibilities:
1) Introducing a proposal and preparing studies.
2) Writing specs for all electrical and mechanical equipments.
3) Supervising the implementation process.
Facing The Risk of Effects and Dangers of Rains and Floods That Have Occurred AlKharj
Province in Late 2003
Member of the team who helped effectively in preventing effects and dangers of floods and
rains that have occurred AlKharj province in late 2003 and Maintain the continuation of pumping
water to the city.
AlKharj Water Tower Rehabilitation Project
After a flood in 2003, the basement of AlKharj water tower was Fully damaged including
installations and equipments. A committee was formed to determine the damages. The cost
of Rehabilitation was 10 million S.R..
Responsibilities:
1) Member of the Committee that was Responsible for determining the damage.
2) Writing specs for all electrical installations and mechanical equipments for the
rehabilitation.
3) Supervising the Rehabilitation process.
AlKharj Water Project Emergency Plan During The Liberation War of Kuwait 1991
Responsibilities:
1) A member of the team that was responsible for developing an emergency plan for
AlKharj water project.
2) A part of the emergency team work that was responsible for the Implementation of the
Emergency plan in AlKharj water project.

The objective of the project was to facing the growing need of water.

1) Proposing new sites for wells and providing its Plans and designs.
2) Preparing required designs and writing specs for drilling, equipments and connecting
pipelines.
3) Leading the team to implement these expansions including wells digging, equipment
installing and connecting pipelines.

The objective of the Development was to facing the urban expansion of the province.

1) Leading a team over 28 years for the operation and maintenance of mechanical and
electrical equipments from wells, pumping stations and treatment plants.
2) Preparing studies to develop the project and to address problems and expansions.
3) Propose solutions to network problems and implementation of water and water delivery
to all areas of the city of AlKharj
4) Writing specs for equipments and installations of the network like pumping stations,
booster stations, wells etc..
5) Manufacture of some spare parts locally as an alternative to equipment spare parts for
