2. Born on February 24th, 1955 in San Francisco, California. He
was put up for adoption a week after birth.
Adoption was done by Paul and Clara Jobs.
Jobs’ relationship with Bay Area painter Chrisann Brennan
yielded his first daughter, Lisa Brennan-Jobs, born in 1978.
Job was a Zen Buddhist and was a Pescetarian.
3. The company was started on 1st April 1976. The company was
started with the partnership of Woznaik.
The computers started its public trade from 1980’s.
In 1983 Apple Inc. launched LISA computers. The computer
was not successful in the market due to high price and less
features. The company suffered a loss.
After Woznaik quitted from the company the board of
members met on 28th May 1985 and vited for the removal of
Steve Jobs from the company.
4. Jobs after he resigned from Apple he started his own
company. The name was NeXT. The company dealt with
manufacturing computers. The company was founded in 1989.
In the beginning the company made profits but as the years
passed by there was a downfall and they had to stop making
computers.
Microsoft purchased NeXT and saved the company from
closing down.
In February 1993 Steve quit the company.
5. Pixar was Steve’s 2nd company. The company that was
associated with making animated movies.
The movies made by Pixar swept off the box office. Movies
like “THE INCERDIBLES”, “FINDING NEMO”, etc. were
produced by Pixar and they were blockbusters in the box
office.
On 24th January 2006 Disney bought Pixar for $7.2 Billion.
After Pixar, Steve went back to Apple and became its C.E.O.

7. Steve had a salary of $1 a year.
He held 5 million shares of Apple company whose worth was
$2.1 Billion
He held 138 Million shares of Disney whose worth was $ 4.4
Billion.
His total net worth was $8.3 Billion.
He was counted in the list of world’s richest man.
8. Steve had discovered in 2003 that he had neuro-endocrine
cancer. He did not pay much attention to it. He did his check
up and successfully killed the cancer.
But on October 5, 2011, due to complications from a relapse of
his previously treated islet-cell neuroendocrine pancreatic
cancer, resulted in respiratory arrest.
He had lost consciousness, and died with his wife, children and
sister at his side. Jobs died at his California home around
3 pm
