• Set account permissions for ContosoSP_Install
– Local administrator on SharePoint Server
– SQL Roles of dbcreator, public, and security admin
• Install the PreRequisites
– Required a reboot or two
• Installed the forgotten Patch(es)
– Windows 2012
• KB 2765317
– Windows 2008 R2
• KB 2554876
• KB 2708075
• KB 2759112

• Downloaded the 180 day trial

• Run this and be sure to replace your SQL server

Passphrase rules:
Contains at least eight characters
Contains at least three of the following four character groups:
English uppercase characters (from A through Z)
English lowercase characters (from a through z)
Numerals (from 0 through 9)
Nonalphabetic characters: “! " # $ % & ' ( ) * + , - . / : ; < = > ? @ [ ] ^ _ ` { | } ~
