Building up SAP NetWeaver PI for B2B/EDI Collaboration at Greene, Tweed & Co.
Greene, Tweed & Co (GT) has leveraged SAP-centric tools for maximum use of SAP-offered solutions, one of them being SAP NetWeaver™ Process Integration (SAP NetWeaver PI) 7.0. GT has successfully implemented SAP NetWeaver PI 7.0 for B2B integration with Baker Hughes Inc., one of its strategic customers, using industry standards RosettaNet Implementation Framework (RNIF Adapter), Petroleum Industry Data Exchange (PIDX Messages), and HTTPS protocol for data security and integrity. GT has also used SAP NetWeaver PI 7.0 for a successful implementation of EDI communications with its customers using SEEBURGER adapter with FTP protocol to communicate with the EDI VAN GXS. This implementation has helped GT in retiring its old EDI software, Gentran, and migrating all EDI transaction to PI/SEEBURGER.
