3. About Joseph Henry
Inspired by ordinary/normal people who had helped the poorer people
and made an impact on the society
3 years before he initiated this venture, it seemed impossible to even
run 2 miles for Joseph Henry, thus he underwent strenuous training
People asked him “Are you crazy?”, but he did not get discouraged
and instead joyfully started and finished this venture
2 miles = 3.21869 km

4. History of Venture
Joseph got the idea for his 500-mile run after attending last year's
Universities Fighting World Hunger Summit.
A story of a man running 3 marathons in 3 days to raise funds to help
fight against hunger inspired Joseph to create Hunger 500 to run
17 marathons in a row to raise funds to help fight against hunger
Joseph is running to raise money, $100,000 to be exact, for the UN
World Food Programme to help feed the 925 million people who go
to bed hungry each night.

500 miles = 804.672 km
Raise awareness to the society of the poor people and help them
Raise $100,000 to feed the poor and those that go hungry to bed
every night
Joseph said that, “On a day to day basis my goal is to take one step
for each person that dies from hunger and related diseases per
day.”
