- 13. Regional membership plans help districts and clubs to improve both qualitatively and quantitatively for the following: โ Membership Goal setting โ Learning techniques of membership development โ Recruitment โ Assimilation and Retention โ Extension
- 14. In District conducting zone wise membership seminars helped the club leaders and membership chairs to plan, and learn how to inform and act. โThe Zone V which is the largest Zone in membership continues to grow by about 7% annually adopting the good techniques of RMP.โ
- 15. Listing of Rotary, Rotaract and TRF Alumni helped in widening base of Potential/ Prospective members. โA database under preparation for the same.โ
- 16. Promoting Couple and Family Memberships with incentives like rebate in club dues resulted in immediate growth. โMany clubs have introduced this concept and we are expecting at least five couple members in a club this year.โ
- 17. Appointing District Officers on Special Duty for weak clubs resulted in more vibrant clubs, thereby promoting membership growth. โWe have allotted a special budget for this exercise to do a health check up on weak clubs and turn them into active vibrant club.โ
- 18. Rewarding district and clubs with Membership zone and district awards resulted in significant motivation and encouragement to perform better. โFor the first time this year we have introduced Zonal awards for Clubs and individual Rotarians for their contribution in membership development which is highly encouraging.โ

- Tamie (Tamara) Koop Tamie joined Rotary in the landmark year, 1989, when women were officially welcomed into Rotary. She is a member of the Rotary Club of Waukesha Sunrise. She has been active in the club in many service above self efforts. Tamie served as District 6270 District Governor in the 2008 โ 2009 Rotary year. The theme that year was โMake Dreams Realโ. Additionally on the district level she serves on the district Executive committee, chair of the โClub Facilitated Visioningโ team, Youth Protection Trainer and Rotary Grants educator. She is serving Rotary Zone 28, as a Rotary Coordinator with a team of 3 assistant coordinators. The Rotary Coordinatorโs goal is to be a resource and give supportive service to the 12 districts comprising Zone 28. She is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow, Paul Harris Society giver and a major donor to the Rotary Foundation. She is retired from a lifelong career as the University of Wisconsin Extension 4H Youth Development Educator of Waukesha County. In 2011, she was inducted into the National 4-H Hall of Fame. Free timeโlawn mowing on the farm, photography and judging at county fairs.
