Dear Sir or Madam,
My understanding is that you are seeking a candidate with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing who will be a
valuable asset to the work place and consistently portray qualities of character that are rooted in respect, honesty
and advocacy for the well-being of patients. I am confident I would be an excellent fit considering I am driven to
expand my knowledge and understanding of nursing in order to supply effective and efficient care for patients. I
strive to maintain positivity no matter the challenge and to promote a wonderful experience for colleagues and
clients of the hospital. I aspire to be connected within an environment where I am encouraged to unlock and
embrace my career as an exemplary nurse.
I bring to the table a unique blend of educational and experiential qualifications that briefly include:
• Graduated from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Nursing
• Particular compassion for those marginalized by society
• English literate with moderate Spanish and German proficiency
In addition, I completed two in depth team projects while in school. The first focused on the geriatric population
of Lubbock, Texas, and their needs as they pertained to maintaining and improving their independent lifestyle.
The second was established on bettering the less fortunate in the community by creating and implementing
outreach programs, specifically for children.
I would be delighted to have the opportunity for a personal interview and can, of course, be available at your
convenience. Thank you in advance for your time and consideration and look forward to what I anticipate will be
the first of many positive communications.
Sincerely,
Ross Calverley, BSN, RN.
