Rosemary De Caires is an education and youth advocate who practices law in Ontario. She grew up in Toronto and earned degrees from the University of Toronto, including a law degree from an out-of-province school. As a student, she was an excellent leader who held the position of President of her high school. For the past few years, she has focused her work on the Trillium 2008 symposium and was appointed counsel to Trillium in 2008. She recently attended case conferences on Trillium 2008 and was appointed student advocate to York University in November 2008.
