Nintendo has released many gaming consoles over the years that have progressed in capabilities. The documentary will use interviews and secondary sources to show this progression from the Gameboy Color to recent consoles like the 3DS. It will interview teenagers aged 13-19 about their thoughts on Nintendo's increasing costs for add-on features, a first for the company. The purpose is to gain perspectives on how Nintendo's new games often require a new console, increasing expenses for audiences.

• In this short documentary I will use secondary
information and interviews that are online to
show the progression of the Nintendo
consoles.
• I will interview users of the Nintendo consoles
and products and see what they think of the
recent progressions of consoles and gaming
capacity in which you may now have to pay
for add on features which is a first for
nintendo.

3. Target audience (who is it for, be as
specific as possible explain why)
• This is going to be aimed at a teenage group
from the ages of 13-19 as no age varies in
gaming as many people may have atleast
owned a console ranging from a gameboy
color – a 3ds and a gamecube – a wii plus so
this is a wide target audience. I will interview
a varietyof sexes to get an even view and not
a biased one.

• This will be a formal and direct documentary
as I will be addressing the audience on a
personal level and the interviews will be
double viewed in which I will also be filmed
asking thee questions I would have prepared
eg. What do you think of the change in
nintendo merchandise from the gameboy
color to the latest 3 ds

5. Purpose (why are you making it? To
inform, entertain to raise awarness of
an issue?)
• I am doing this to simply gain peoples views
on the gaming matter of Nintendos increasing
expense on their audiences money as each
new game that comes out it seems to be on a
new console. And I wish to find out peoples
views on this.

As you can see with the pictures above Nintendo has released a fair
amount of gaming devices and with the progression of the hand held
consoles the lesser gaming compatibility as the gameboy color top left
games could no longer be played on the ds and the advanced was wiped
out at the dsi as the got rid of the gamboy slot, the most recent device has
not made it impossible to play Nintendo ds games on it but from no on
games will only be released on the 3ds.
