How to create a shoe box guitar with simple house hold items.

1. Make your own Guitar!

2. What items are needed
Empty Shoe Box
Paper towel tube
5 jumbo rubber bands
Pencil
Scissors
Glue or tape
Markers or crayons
2 Craft Sticks

3. Step 1
• Cut a hole in the center of the shoebox lid.

4. Step 2
• Stretch the rubber bands lengthwise around the
box and over the hole.

5. Step 3
• Put the unsharpened pencil under the rubber
bands on one side.

6. Step 4
• Cut a hole in the side of the shoebox opposite
from the pencil. Slide the paper towel tube in
and glue it in.

7. Step 5
• Glue the 2 craft sticks to the top of the paper
towel roll. Decorate your new shoebox guitar
with colors, or stickers, glitter, etc. Be creative!

8. Step 6
• Time to Rock!!!

others students guitars.
