PROFILE:
I am reliable, punctual and have excellent attendance records. I'm very hardworking as an individual
but also as part of a team. I have had many experiences that have involved working in large and small
places, with a lot of people or few people and lots with the public. I am very proud of my customer
service manner as I'm quite a sociable person. I enjoy learning new things and I'm always up for a
challenge.
My hobbies include socialising, listening to music, visiting interesting places and trying out new
things. I'm active and enjoy trekking, diving and being in the outdoors. I also like to volunteer on
certain projects that are close to my heart, the last one was a turtle sanctuary.

EDUCATION:
All my education was achieved in England. I attended Highfields School, Matlock from 1997 to 2002
and achieved the following G.C.S.E's:
• Mathematics – C
• English – B
• English Literature – B
• Science (Double Award) – E
• Spanish – D
• Art – C
• Religious Studies – B
I attended High Peak College, Buxton from 2002 to 2004 to complete a modern apprenticeship for
NVQ Level 2 in Hairdressing which included full Hairdressing skills, health and safety, salon
reception duties and effective working relationships.
I also studied whilst managing a bar; I completed NVQ Level 2 in Catering and Hospitality, NVQ
Level 3 in Bar Service and NVQ Level 3 in Customer Service. These mainly include things like
promoting products and services, solving customer problems, working with others and preparing
working areas. I also hold BIIAB Level 2 for Licensees.
I attended a computer course and completed Entry Level 3 for ICT which prepared me for New
CLAIT, which I also successfully gained.
CAREER SUMMARY:
Most of my jobs have been in England.
I also did lots of part time work whilst in school that included waiting on, car washing & retail.
• Lime Hairdressers, Matlock – 2002-2004
I had worked part-time at both Re-Style Hairdressers and Gemini Salon whilst in education so when I
left school I went to Lime to complete my NVQ, I completed my course but later realised this wasn't
the path for me.
• The Vaults, Wirksworth – 2004-2006
I loved my time working at the Vaults; it was great working with so many different people. I took on
the Manager role a year after starting there, it mainly involved sorting staff rotas, cashing up,
stocktaking and day to day ordering. I’d also help with the cleaning and run the B&B. I left just before
the Landlord sold up to secure a job.
• Breasley Pillows, Wirksworth – 2006-2011
I worked as part of a team to manufacture products for some of the biggest furniture suppliers in
Europe
• Courtaulds Ltd, Belper – 2011-2014
Also known as Aristoc, I again worked here as part of a team, this time making hosiery. I was a
machine operative working with 8 very hi-tech machines with 5 others, rotating shifts. My role here
was very hands on and considered an important position within the manufacturing process. We had
very tight deadlines which meant a lot of responsibility to make sure they were obtained.
• Yardley's, Belper – 2013-2014
I was so sad to leave this place, I really enjoyed my role here. This family run business made me feel
like one of their own, by day it’s a busy coffee house, by night it was a busy Tapas restaurant and
cocktail bar. I was lucky enough to get to work day and night so had a lovely mixture of job role and
patrons.
• The Vintage Dehli, Fremantle Markets – Current
This is my friends store but I help her out when she is busy or needs a bit of time off. I love helping
out here but I need something more frequent and permanent.
