5. As Troy drove himself
and 3 friends home
following a night of
partying he rolled his
pickup. The first roll
threw him out. When
it rolled a second
time, it rolled over
him.
There was no way Troy should have
lived. By the time help arrived his
lungs were full of blood , his eyes
were caked shut from the glass and
gravel, his spine was completely
severed and he had suffered a
traumatic brain injury.

6. Death is what the
The first few days Troy’s
family was encouraged to say
doctors said...
their goodbyes.
In the medical world he would not
make it. And if he did he would be a
vegetable; never seeing, never
breathing on his own and never
again speaking.
But with the power of
prayers and Troy’s will to live,
he hung on. To the awe of the Troy fought the grip
doctors he began to show of death and lived to
signs of life.
