Handy Tips to Keeping Moths Away From
               Cashmere Clothing
When it comes to moths, they are not simply nuisances that keep buzzing close to your light
bulbs. If you own cashmere clothing they could cause real damage to them and this would
be a waste to your investment. If you have your clothes in storage because the season is not
permissive for you to wear them, you need to ensure that they are safe or you may come and
find them riddled with holes after a couple of months. Here are some handy tips to keeping
moths away from your cashmere items.

       1. Before putting your cashmere items in the closet, ensure that they are clean. Any
odor and perspiration that may be present on the clothes is sure to attract moths to
them. The moths will then remain in the closet eating away at the cashmere sweater or
scarf. Before washing the cashmere items, ensure that you follow the manufacturer’s
instructions to the letter to avoid ruining them.

       2. Purchase some moth balls. Moth balls are a great preventative measure of keeping
moths from your clothes. All you would need to do is put the moth balls atop a piece
of paper. When you put your cashmere clothing in the drawer, place the paper on top
of them and close the drawer. The piece of paper will protect your clothes from the
chemicals contained in the moth balls. If you typically hang your cashmere items, you
can put the moth balls in an old sock that you no longer use and hang this sock in the
       closet together with your clothes.

       3. Thoroughly clean your house. To ensure that moths are not hiding around your
home, you need to have all areas cleaned. Vacuum under chars, storage areas, under
baseboards and anywhere else that dust is likely to accumulate.
