Corporate Profile Specializing in base-metals exploration, Fieldex recently expanded its scope of exploration to rare earths following the discovery of major radiometric anomalies on its Lac Sairs property located in the Kipawa alcalin Heavy Rare Earth complex. Rare earths are experiencing an explosion in demand, owing, in large part, to the green economy and restricted exports from China, the world’s largest producer. In the coming month, Fieldex Exploration will be focusing its efforts on its Lac Sairs property, which could potentially contain a viable rare-earths deposit. Fieldex Exploration is the larger land owner on the prolific Temiscamingue volcanic greenstone belt with over 52,000 hectares (520 km2) of land.
