4. Raising Capital Individual social Investments Any individual can lend as little as Rs.100 by simply registering online and choosing a borrower of his/her choice. Corporate social investments A corporate can participate by allocating a budget from their CSR funds. The funds will be deployed as loans to micro-entrepreneurs.

6. Rang De Entrepreneurs Sabita has learnt to balance family and business. Her auto driver husband Akshay helps in her coconut trade whenever possible but it is largely Sabita who looks into operations. Rang De loan has pepped up the business and Sabita used the funds to buy coconuts in bulk. She supplies her stock to customers at a temple and also to some coolies who sell them for her. Sabita has a 10 month old baby and 2 girls at school. She is eager to earn more for the family and is sure that a second loan from Rang De for a larger sum alone can increase her earning capacity.
7. Rang De Entrepreneurs Kanakama's choice of occupation was almost pre-determined, Her family has been into vegetable vending business for the last 20 years. She has a small vegetable shop in Puri and works from 8.00 am in the morning until late night. However lack of funds force her to buy the vegetables on credit at higher rate. She used the loan to buy vegetables at wholesale rates to increase her profit margins.
