Global business confidence has made only slight progress compared to six months ago, with the index rising from 111 to 114. While growth economies continue to report higher average confidence than mature economies, at 126 and 104 respectively. Businesses globally plan to hire more sales and marketing staff in their bid for growth, with over 57% of firms expecting to increase these departments.
